Really? Why, do they not have them on her planet, or something?

Claire: Well, um... how should I put it... *looks from side to side, clearly nervous, then taps her face near her eyes meaningfully* Permission to speak freely, my lady?

Good. And I did think you were better than that. I just had to be sure... Anyway, what were you going to say?

Claire: *eyes turn black* I mean, think about it. She's from a world where everyone with sapience could be mistaken for walking plush dolls by anyone without prior knowledge of them! More than half the plushies in her room are of animals that either already exist on Earth (and thus have their counterparts back home) or are based on human perceptions of Kittenoans, such as that doll you gave her a minute ago. There's even a ponified version of you on the windowsill, for crying out loud, and ponies are used on Kittenoa as a secondary food source! Tell me how that's not the slightest bit weird!

*Circe shrugs.* Is it weird for a human to own toys shaped like humans? And we do look like primates, so are stuffed monkeys strange? We eat cows and chickens, but I imagine plush versions of those exist...

Claire: Humans don't commonly mistake other humans for stuffed animals, boss. Neither are things that big supposed to look cute.
