A Very Beautiful Girl

[Alexis]

The girl answers Alexis first. "Maybe it's because he has bigger designs for my brother! I'm also pretty sure the dragon I'm talking about doesn't do any of that weird stuff. What makes you an expert on dragons anyway?"

"That's great news!" she says, to Chris. "I'm sure those aren't just for show, huh?" She points briefly at the outer sides of Chris's upper legs, and he notices the weight of something attached there that probably wasn't before--a pair of handgun holsters, complete with the pistols, strapped to his legs, on the outside of his pants.

The girl looks a little concerned about hurting Elliot's feelings. She walks up and reaches out toward just above where she's been looking while talking to him all this time, and, something weird happens. It looks to everyone else as if her arm has simply moved up to properly reach the top of his head, but Elliot himself has an odd sense of her still. reaching down to get to the top of his head; in both cases she ruffles his hair. "Aww, I'm sure you're really strong too, just in a different way!" she says cheerfully. He loses several more inches of height when she does this, and his hair turns black all at once and grows out even longer than before.

*She gives the girl a better look*are you dense?

The sight of two guns in holsters strapped to Chris's thighs just added to Elliot's shock and confusion. That was quite some bad luck to be trying to compete with a guy that had come prepared. However, as the girl came closer, his attention was drawn back to her, and only her. His lips parted slightly, blue eyes looking into her eyes as she reached toward him, and he shifted slightly, blushing as she ruffled his hair, but he seemed entranced by her.

Swallowing a deep breath, he could feel the redness wash right across his face as she spoke to him in that gentle, caring tone. He knew it wasn't what he wanted, that it wasn't like she was speaking to the others, but she was so beautiful, he was just glad she was talking to him at all. "I'll help in any way I can... ", he offered, feeling a shiver run down his spine.

"That's great news!" she says, to Chris. "I'm sure those aren't just for show, huh?" Blinking in confusion for a moment, Chris D looks down at where the girl is pointing, before blinking and staring at the holsters with the pistols inside, carefully taking the right one out of its holster, before pausing. "Wait...how did...?" He starts to say, before pausing once again, scratching his head in a bit of confusion as he stares at the pistol in his hand.

"Oh, it's called a Jujomaiki! It looks..uuummm, well it smells like a spoiled meat or rotten eggs mixed with strawberries and squash, only very faintly but I'm sure you could make it out easier than the rest of us!" Ookalf's ears feel like they're stretching, and in fact are growing a little bit bigger, the tips a bit pointier. And he finds himself..smelling things in much more detail than before, despite still breathing the same as he always has.

The girl looks at Alexis again. "Well just because you know a thing or two about magic doesn't mean I can trust you on dragons, especially when you start talking about them doing weird stuff like that." An extremely big, wide-rimmed, red velvet pointy hat seems to fall upon Alexis' head as if from above. Strangely, it seems to have worked its way around her horns in the process of falling on her head, making it look as if it were being worn perfectly normally.

For some reason the weight of the pistol in his hand just feels right to Chris D. He seems to know just how to balance it, and aim it, and reload it quickly. And suddenly his hair turns a bright white color and tumbles down his back, growing out so far that its tips are touching his thighs.

"Oh, I just know you'll be a big help," she says to Elliot. His height loss accelerates and then comes to an abrupt halt; now the place she looks at is at the same height as before, but she is looking directly into his eyes. His shirt turns solid white, and the next time he blinks anyone else who looks will see that his right eye has turned brilliant blue, the left one a darkish red.

[Ookalf]

Well, that doesn't sound like a good smell at all... *Feeling something a little off, Ookalf idly reaches up and scratches one ear.* And where would we find this, again? Just, in town somewhere?

Noo.. rather happy to have gotten back to dragonhood, why not hit the unnamed person over there....*which she points to.. and with that she's out!*

Despite feeling like he was being spoken to almost like a child, Elliot couldn't stop a big grin spreading across his face as the beautiful girl spoke of how much help he was going to be. He felt so proud, and sucked in a deep breath, before... suddenly realising she was looking down at him. Lifting a hand, he scratched at the side of his head, looking utterly puzzled, which of course included several confused blinks. "How'd you get so tall... ?", he asked, a hand reaching out to try and grasp onto her arm, to keep her attention.

Smiling a bit, Chris D quickly twirls the gun for a moment, before putting it back in its holster like he had done it so many times before. However, he pauses as his already long-ish hair that was down to around his shoulders suddenly doubles in length, and then some. "Wait, wha?" He says, noticing a strand by his face and holding it out to look at with his left hand. "

"Well I guess I am not needed"the man says and turns to go.

"I'm absolutely sure there is a salesman who can help us somewhere around here, but I've been unlucky with looking so far." Ookalf feels little bits of fuzz forming on his ears, and when he touches them long enough they actually seem to be getting thicker and longer. The ears continue to stretch and grow, too.

The hat disappears when Alexis does, but when the girl turns her attention on that guy from earlier it reappears on his head. "Oh my, I didn't know you were missing your name! Did somebody steal it from you?"

"Hm?" The girl looked at Elliot again. "Oh, I got tall by eating my vegetables, fruits, meats, and bread, and waiting. Lots and lots and looots of waiting." His shorts started to get vertical and horizontal lines all across them, and get shorter..and he could feel the wind blowing across something on his back, just behind the shoulder blades, only extending for a couple of inches but definitely not there before.

And she looks back at Chris. "Are you okay? You seem a little distracted." His pants seem to cut loose their leggings just above where the holsters are holding on, and the lower part starts to soften and grow down the rest of each leg to merge with the sock there.

Elliot continued to gaze at her in awe, with his mouth hanging open as she spoke as if nothing was wrong. In fact, her presence was making even Elliot himself feel oddly calm. He leaned toward her, and half-stepped, half-stumbled closer, and ended up pressed against her when he felt the odd sensation across his back. The black hair flicked about as he twisted his head to try and look over his shoulder, "Huh?".

Looking back at the girl, Chris D pauses. "Well, I...err, am I seeing things or can you see what's going on?" He says, pointing to his hair, before blinking as he looks down at his pants, blinking and blushing a bit. "The hell?"

"Ooooooh, I see! So people could use your name to mess with your magic if they knew it?" If the guy's hair wasn't shoulder-length and dark before..well, it is now.

The shorts turn a blue color, stop shortening at about thigh length and start to open up in the middle and spread out; Elliot's underwear has also started to rapidly shrink now, yet it hasn't become uncomfortable. He looks back to see a mass of feathers coming from each shoulder: White on the left, black on the right, and both quickly growing bigger. His voice seems to have gotten higher, too.

Looking back at the girl, Chris D pauses. "Well, I...err, am I seeing things or can you see what's going on?" He says, pointing to his hair, before blinking as he looks down at his pants, blinking and blushing a bit. "The hell?"

The girl scratches her head briefly, watching Chris for a few seconds. In that time, the leggings turn fully to black cloth and start squeezing his legs, seemingly causing them to get thinner..even up where the leggings aren't covering! And the top part of his pants starts turning to cloth as well, the holes that his legs stick through growing wider and turning into a single opening. "Well..you must be seeing things, 'cause I don't see anything unusual going on."

I see... Hm? *Ookalf seems rather confused as he feels his fuzzy ears.* ...Do my ears look OK to you?

"Oh? They look fine to me, totally clean and everything! Are they itchy? Oh no, you don't have a flea problem do you?" The ears quickly grow into a big, triangular size, with what is definitely fur all over them; and Ookalf's hearing seems to have improved considerably, just like his sense of smell did earlier. Then his hair grows a little bit longer, not much but enough to frame his face and just barely touch his shoulders on the sides, and turns bright white--the same color, others may note, as the fur on the ears. Then his shirt turns white, too, and his pants turn pitch black.
