"Very well..." says Raoul, tapping Mia's blade, a sign to signify melee is to begin in some circles.

Mia does the same as she prepare for battle.

Mia soon moved her blade downward a bit to aim for Raoul's wrist.

[Raleigh]

*Raleigh is sadly overextended and takes the thrust to the stomach.* Seems our field of play shrinks as we go too. Need to keep that in mind. *Waits to allow that hit to be scored as is usually done in fencing before he prepares to go again.*

[Remi]

*Returns to starting position and waits for Dact to do the same.* Hm..

Dact also returns to his position, glancing down. "Huh... this has potential to be bad." Before back to Raleigh. "But interesting as well... shall we continue?"

Of course. Besides it could be worse. *He does something that is a cross between a leap forward and dash while swiping at Dact's sword arm.* We could be doing this over lava with a steadily disappearing stage.

"No, no, I don't think so," says Raoul, with a fierce thrust to Mia's torso.

*Raoul and Mia's circle starts to shrink now*

Mia at once moved to the side away from the trust in order to counter with her own on the same side where her first attempt was but on the waist. Mia notice the smaller ring and avoided to go over it.

*the circle seems to start shrinking faster for Mia and Raoul*

Dact twists to the side... watching his footing as he tries to beat Raleighs sword aside to leave him open for a counterattack! "Yeah... did that once. It was not fun."

[Raleigh]

*Hops back a bit and begins to try and slide the point of his foil around the harsh blows Dact is giving.* Only once? *He waits for one particularly vicious blow and steps inside of the arc of the foil's blade to catch it against the bellguard of his own before attempting to push it back and throw Dact off balance.*
