"Well umm, just... does it say anything about how careful I have to be with it? Is there a limited distance I can be separate from it? And umm, how long can I stay outside it? What happens when it gets damaged?? Do you think I could change the interior? Would I be able to get WiFi in there?...", Dan kept of shooting questions, maybe a bit too curious about his new 'home'. "Ahh, sorry, maybe I'm asking too much at once..."

Yeah, you definitely gotta slow down there, girl... So, do you want one o' those answered first?

Yes? *The maid looks away from her plant to speak with Marie.* May I assist you in some way?

"Err, someone left a jar of Planberry jelly in one of the normal storage rooms, where it was gonna fall over on top of someone." Marie waves at the jar in her hand. "Mistress Circe said it belonged in one of the labs like this one?"

Dan starts blushing a bit, getting called a girl, "Umm... I guess the most important part, for now, is knowing how long I can stay outside of it? I know genies are very bound to their lamp, but no idea what my limits are outside of it..."

"Err, someone left a jar of Planberry jelly in one of the normal storage rooms, where it was gonna fall over on top of someone." Marie waves at the jar in her hand. "Mistress Circe said it belonged in one of the labs like this one?"

I see. Well, this certainly would be the most appropriate location for such an item. Do you require me to handle it for you?

Dan starts blushing a bit, getting called a girl, "Umm... I guess the most important part, for now, is knowing how long I can stay outside of it? I know genies are very bound to their lamp, but no idea what my limits are outside of it..."

Yeah, OK... Um, I don't think the book said anything about a time limit like that? I think you're fine just going around outside like a normal person.

"Well, I already handled it all the way here. Just show me where I should put it and I can take care of the rest~," says Marie cheerfully.

"Hmm, how about a distance limit? Did it say anything about how far I can travel away from it? I think I heard once some genies have to stay close to their lamp?", when Dan thinks further, she also recalls hearing something about different types of genies, or maybe that was just in some game? She slowly gets lost thinking about complexities of her new being.

"Well, I already handled it all the way here. Just show me where I should put it and I can take care of the rest~," says Marie cheerfully.

Very well then. If you would just place it right there, that should be sufficient. *She points Marie toward a shelf already holding some Planberry juice.*

Um, I think it said that that depends on the genie... You'll hafta figure that out on your own, I think.

"Mhm!" Marie starts on the rest of the way to the shelf. The other maid in the laboratory might notice a piece of blank notebook paper mysteriously appearing where the dog-girl is about to put her feet, conveniently placed just so that if she slips on it just right she'll surely tumble right into the collection of color-fruit-based stuff.

"I see... Perhaps I should be on the safe side then and keep the lamp always close with me for now.", she says putting the lamp away in the backpack.

Yeah, that might be a safe idea. So, that it?

"Mhm!" Marie starts on the rest of the way to the shelf. The other maid in the laboratory might notice a piece of blank notebook paper mysteriously appearing where the dog-girl is about to put her feet, conveniently placed just so that if she slips on it just right she'll surely tumble right into the collection of color-fruit-based stuff.

Wait. *The maid grabs Marie's arm to stop her just before she can step on the paper.* Please watch your step while you are in the laboratory.

Closing the backpack, she continues, "Well talking about 'safe'.. how careful do I have to be with the lamp? What happens if it gets damaged?"

Um, I think the lamp getting destroyed might free you from it? But I think they're also, like, super tough, so you probably don't have to worry about that happenin'.

Marie stops, and looks at the paper. "Oh! I'm sorry, I could've sworn there wasn't anything there before..." She carefully goes around it and places the jar. "There! Sorry to bug you while you're working...oh, is there anything I can help you with?" she asks, eager to make up for almost faceplanting in color fruit products.

"Oh, so it isn't harmful to me if my lamp gets damaged? What a relief and nice to know I don't have to worry about that too much." Looking the cover of the book over, and checking the first few pages, she says, "I guess those were my most urgent questions for now, I'll check out the book later on my own, and read up what else there is to know about my lamp. Umm.. you said you were on break now? So are you here in the library just for fun?"
