Circe's Manor THE NEXT

The genie nods, "Umm, yes... If I'm a genie now, do I have to do whole 'grant wishes' thing for whoever owns the lamp?" Then she moves closer to the lamp, lowering herself, hesitating to reach out for it, so asks, "Is it okay for me to touch it from now on?"

[Ookalf]

*Circe nods.* The answer to both of those questions those is yes. You'll be compelled to grant wishes from anyone who holds your lamp, but you can also just hold onto the lamp yourself to avoid that, if you're so inclined.

[xGoggles]

Dan whimpers some more, not liking the idea of being someone's wish-granting servant. Wanting to keep it safe, she holds the lamp tightly against her chest, only to quickly discover the awkward discomfort it has pressing on her new breasts.
"But... I don't even know how to grant wishes... Um, can I grant my own wishes?", the young genie asks Circe very hopeful. She never heard of genies doing something like that, but what other types of magic did they do if it wasn't in wish-form?

[Ookalf]

Generally speaking, you just have to want something to happen and it'll happen. And yes, it's possible for you to use that magic for yourself.

[xGoggles]

Her eyes twinkle in delight on hearing the great news, "Really? That's amazing! That means I can just turn back using my own powers~", Dan squints her eyes and concentrates, trying to will her magic to change her body back to that of his normal self.

[Ookalf]

*Dan focuses, and soon transforms into a semblance of his original form!* So, you found a way around that. Not bad... But your genie form will still be your default for the moment, and you're still bound to the lamp. Points for trying, though.

[xGoggles]

Dan opens his eyes and looks back down, very happy 'he' was finally back in his own body, or at least what appeared to be his body. "Oh wow, it actually worked! Awesome! Didn't even require any spells or anything." He smiles at Circe's praise, "So all I have to do is keep the lamp safe? I think I'm fine with that; I'll just hide it somewhere in my room."
Amazed how suddenly he had the power of a genie at his disposal, going from non-magical to become one of the most magical beings, sure did something to his confidence. "Oh this is just so amazing, I wonder how powerful I'm now.", up for the next experiment, he focuses on the magical-energy-analyzing-crystal, willing it into his free hand. And when he implements his magic to teleport the crystal.. it successfully poofed in 'her' hand??... Well, it also turns out, she changed back to her genie appearance after using her magic~ "Aww, come on!.."

[Ookalf]

I guess not everything can be super convenient for you, huh? *This time the crystal has a golden glow!* You're powerful enough, I think.

[xGoggles]

She lets out a sigh, "Guess it was too good to be true..."
Looking at the crystal with curiosity, "This is good, right? Umm... could.. it be that...", she slightly shies away, hesitating if she should even dare to ask.."Could it be that... I'm even more powerful than you now..?"

[Ookalf]

... *Circe takes a deep breath and looks Dan in the eye.* And what would you do if you were?

[xGoggles]

"I umm... Ah... N-Nothing, Miss Circe~ I mean..I have like.. no experience with magic anyway... Y-You'll always be superior to me~..", Dan tries to soothe the situation, taking a step back, again not trying to upset Circe as she was what sensitive about the topic.

[Ookalf]

*Circe hesitates a minute, then sighs and shakes her head.* ...Well, I'll admit that there are probably things a genie can do that I couldn't. And on that note, I'm not sure that I have anything to teach a genie. You don't really have a need for spells or anything while you're like this.

[xGoggles]

"Oh... But... Does that mean I can't be your student anymore? Does that mean.. I have to leave?...", the genie actually starts to get a little sad now... "There.. there has to be something still to teach me... Umm... I still don't know how magic works internally and how it interacts with other magic, and.. umm.. still have no idea what all there is to know about genies!"
Dan looks down, thinking about how suddenly with all this power and no idea what to do with it even, "Please Miss Circe, if you really have nothing to teach a genie, maybe there are still books around or something here that could help me? Unless.. you rather don't want me as a genie?..."

[Ookalf]

If you just want to read about genies, then go to the library. You hardly need me for that. *Apparently regarding the conversation as ending, Circe starts going around the room and putting back all the items Dan moved as she was trying stuff on.*

[xGoggles]

"B-but.. ah...", Dan gets silent, feeling as if maybe she somehow ruined the relationship she had with Circe when becoming a genie. Not trying to press it any further she grabs her goggles she put on the side, along with her other stuff, leaving the power crystal behind. Then she takes out the map to see where the library was.
Looking back at Circe one more time, she softly says, "I'm sorry...", then uses her powers to teleport herself towards the library.
