Only the sound of the accelerating wheels on pavement pierce the blackness of the tunnels which seem to stretch on to eternity. Up ahead a pinpoint of light taunts Elliot with hopes of escape from the long tunnels. Time seems to hold still...

Seconds later the Corvette emerges from the tunnel into the land of light. Speaking of light, Elliot feels a strangeness lingering over his form. Something seems off... but what?
The boy leads Konoko to the center of the ballroom. A strange tingle ripples through the girl's clothes, but unless she is paying attention it is unlikely that she'll notice.

"But of course" says the man with a nod. "I am the one controlling it, or at the very least this dreamscape. Everything you see, hear, and feel are all subject to my whim."
As if to demonstrate, the whole room disappears, fading to blank white.
