Hmmmm...

College students becoming magical, female serfs (as well as disciples of a crazy god) that act as vassals-on-demand for other magi in order to solve metaphysical problems and (hopefully) find a way to return to their original sex with the aid of the strongest mage and ruler of the Arkham occult underground?

And doughnuts.

I tend to let my mind wander while at work; it's the only way to stave off the soul-crushing boredom!

Heavens no! I know I worship Cthulhu an' all, but even I'm not that grotesquely inhuman (sry to all the fans of the series who took that seriously)!

I was thinking aboot using my own magic mythos for the game as opposed to doing the over-used "four elements of nature," the "black arts," and "magical girl" themes, but if I had to compare it to any existing media, it'd be a mix of Harry Potter and the Dresden Files on a double date with the psychotic works of H.P. Lovecraft and Army of Darkness, who are all secretly cheating on each other with the Venture Brothers and Hellsing. If there's more interest shown, I'll post up a sign-up/brain-storming thread a little laterz. Right now, however, my poor sad little brain is just too exhausted from my soul-crushing job to think of anything cleaver.

I've got a few ideas

a mystic book is sent around time to recruit people from difffernt time periods and places (could be past for magic/tradional weaponry, future for super science or just 20 years ago it dosent matter) inorder to stop the end of the world only since people's bodys cant be sent through time there minds/souls are forcing them into a group of people who all find the book at once causing them to have merged personalitys or something.

a rp where people are sent into a fictional cross roads where all fictions meet and i guess it could be developed from there it shouldnt be hard to incompass a tg theme but i would be a bit chaotic i guess.

Well, here's an odd idea that I had not too long ago, that I figured would never be used. Still, it might be amusing to hear about it.

It'd be about five special, young people, gifted with the power of the otaku by a Supreme Mangaka. Of course, these five would be otaku themselves, the kind that stay aloof from reality. Using one-of-a-kind, special collector's edition rings (that are given to them by the Supreme Mangaka), they transform into a form matching their favorite otaku obsession (for example: manga; action figures or resin statues; and dating sim games). They would transform to fight reality, when it imposes into their lives. They would use the power of delusion and fantasy to alter that part of reality into something that they're comfortable with. If the problem in reality proves to be too tough for them, they use their rings to combine their powers, to summon Captain Otaku. I even have a theme song for Captain Otaku:

"Manga!"

"Anime!"

"Dating sims!"

"Figurines!"

"Sound tracks!"

"Go Otaku!"

"By your powers combined, I am Captain Otaku!"

Captain Otaku, she's a zero
Gonna hand reality to a hero

She's our fantasy, magnified
And she's fighting on the otaku's side

Captain Otaku, she's a zero
Gonna hand reality to a hero

Gonna help her turn things over
Reality receiving an otaku's makeover

"You'll pay for this Captain Otaku!"

We're the Otaku Rangers
You can be one, too
'Cause saving our delusions is the thing to do!

Accepting your reality is not the way
Hear what Captain Otaku has to say!

"The escape... Is yours!"

Well, it's a work in progress. O.o

Other than that, I expect most of the Otaku rangers to be male, and thus their forms reflecting the obsessions that they have for female stuff. And, of course, vice versa for the one (or two) yaoi-fangirl-otaku. @_@

And there you have it... The bad RP idea that shall forever be sealed away from fragile minds. XD

I have an Idea i came up with Josie. A spin off of death note called TG note. basically it works like death note but instead of people dieing it turns them into something be it furry female or something else.
