"Well, may as well start with what's in front of me..." Seeing as it's close by and all, Alex starts checking for any way to get the sealed door open.

The woman maintains her slightly vacant smile as she stares at Charlie. "Ooooh... new guests? How lovely! Do you need a room?" She asks... as if not hearing his questions.

Alex finds that it is a maintenance hatch for a power junction room. The way open is locked, requiring a maintenance key... but he is able to bypass the lock easily enough. Inside, he finds... a makeshift hidey hole. There is a pile of blankets and a pillow, empty packets of water. food rations, and other such clutter taking up the floor.

Vasily sets the car to a stop and hops out. "Now this is suspicious, yes?" He studies the barricade for a moment, so as to find the quickest way to tear it down. He then does so, setting the debris to the side of the door in case he should have to hastily block the door again. "Now, what are you hiding from, hm?"

Charlie's head tilts to one side, and his eyes narrowed slightly at the woman's behaviour. He tried to calm himself, but was finding her tight uniform to be rather distracting.

"I'm not a guest, and I don't need a room, Miss. I don't think you're grasping the situation here. There's a lot of people back on earth that are worried about you all up here. Is there a problem with your communication equipment?", he asks, and tries to walk around behind the desk.

"Jackpot." Alex opens up the hatch and takes stock of everything inside. "Well, this is interesting..." He starts searching the room for any relevant clues. Who was hiding here, why were they hiding, where they might have gone... Things like that.

The debris is easily cleared... and indeed seems like something had powered through it earlier. There are signs of spot welding, and in one piece of sheet metal... there is a... hand print. Left from a five fingered hand grasping and wrenching the metal away. Despite this, it doesn't seem as if a large hand had done this. There is no evidence of claws, either. The hand looks fairly dainty, in fact...

On the other side is a more claustrophobic area than the loading dock he had just left. Hallways and doors, occaisonally opening up to assembly areas or recreational spots. Gardens, basketball courts, such like that. Everywhere there is evidence of struggle. And noticeably besides the clutter, there are burnt holes in the walls, along with dents. Evidence of laser and projectile weapons discharge.

Her smile is fixed... almost eerily so. "There is no problem here... all is well. We are running efficiently. I'd like you to check in, please." She offers him an electronic sign-in sheet.

He finds a toolbox marked with the stamp of the Kellion, the repair ship that had been sent to the station beforehand. And along with that... there is a PDA resting on the pillow of the makeshift bed. A light blinking faintly. Accessing it, he would find the following message:

To whom it may concern.

If your reading this, then I didn't make it back. Well... damnit. Uh, I've never been good at these kinds of things, but I'll do my best. My name is Jack Salsington. Second electrical, Sol Protectorate ship Kellion. We were sent to fix this rig, but there is nothing wrong with the communications. Thats about all that isn't wrong. We got jumped shortly out of the docking bay. Lights went dead, alot of yelling. I ducked behind some crates and then got my ass down the service hatch. The rest has been a few weeks of nothing. Salvaging materials from the crew barracks. The Kellion is locked up tight. Door is welded shut. For what good that will do them. With the blast doors down, no one is getting out of here. Anyway. I've been holding out for a rescue. If your reading this, watch your ass. Whatever is going on here has the system gripped tight. We were grabbed as we ran the diagnostic from the terminal. Must have spooked whatever it was. We downloaded the blueprints, though. Got em on this PDA. Use it, if it'll help. I'm headded for the docking tower, to try and do a manual override on the blast doors.

Oh and make sure my insurance gets to the kids. Tell my ex that I wish things had worked out between us. And tell little Jim he can have my tools, if he respects them. And to keep himself on a colony or find a job on Terra. Don't go to space like your idiot of a father.

*You see an attatchment for a file, presumably the blueprints. You could remote download them back to the Hidden Blade, if needed.*

Alex frowns as he reads the message. "This whole scenario just keeps getting worse and worse..." He sends a copy of the blueprint to the ship, then opens up the PDA's file while he calls up the others on his radio. "This is Pierce, reporting in. I found a PDA belonging to one of the workers from the repair ship. He left a message, saying he was going to the docking tower to the blast doors working right... There was also a blueprint of the facility attached, which I just sent to the ship's computer. You might wanna grab that when you get the chance. ...Anyway, I'm gonna keep searching for that jammer now. The rest of you, be careful out there. It almost sounded like something was hunting this guy..."

Charlie glanced at the electronic sign in sheet, accidentally holding it with his thumb over the fingerprint scanner, shaking his head before looking back at the woman's smile, and something about it sent a shiver down his spine.

"Miss... I already told you I'm not a guest here. Do you think you could call your manager out here for me? This is extremely important", he explains, and then turns to look over her security desk, checking out the monitors displaying feeds from the security cameras when Alex came over the radio.

"Are you one hundred percent sure the repair crew didn't just decide to take an all inclusive vacation? I'm at the guest accommodation and the staff here claims there's nothing wrong with any equipment. She mistook me for a guest and tried to sign me in... what if the crew got the same offer and took it up?".

Vasily carefully makes his way through the tight hallway, stepping over the clutter. He cautiously peers around corners into the larger recreational areas, checking for more recent signs of life. He pauses at Charlie's broadcast and frowns at the evidence before him.

He activates the comms on his suit. "I am doubting that. The crew quarters show signs of great struggle, lots of gunfire. Whatever happened to this place, it was not signup for relaxing vacation. Be on guard with any survivors, yes?" He readies his knife and cautiously presses forward.

(SOrry abit late on this))

Julian will head in after charlie in his general direction after all, it looks like this is a more standard rescue mission than any need to do much social infitraiting, so his best bet would be to find what surivivors there are and calm them down.

With blueprints in hand, he has a better grasp on where to go. Down the north tunnel will eventually lead him to the main junction down into the inner workings of the Casino.

The girls smile doesnt falter. There is a faint chime, then. "Thank you for signing in... please come with me..." She turns and starts to sway down a hallway... hips moving side to side in a rather hypnotic gait. Creepy though she might be... she was definitely a knockout... Her looks nearly flawless.

Strangely enough, he doesn't see any blood. But its quiet... so quiet. Until... swish... swish... swish... he hears an odd sound up ahead... inside a nearby room.

Julian would find the access tunnel north sealed off. Though the way through processing is still quite open. If he would want to take a detour.

Alex nods and heads down the north tunnel as he replies to the chatter. "Yeah, I'm with Golubov. This guy was definitely in some kind of danger. Only a complete idiot would mistake a free vacation for the kind of attack he described... Whoever you're talking to, I wouldn't trust them."

"I'll investigate further", he says, and closes the comm. link. Following the girl, he couldn't hwl his gaze drifting towards her shapely rear as it swayed with each step, his cheeks going a little red.

"Are there many other guests here at the moment?", he asked, figuring he'd get more info by just playing along, as she'd flat out ignored most of what he'd asked so far.

He will take that detour after all finding people is the priority here

Through the access tunnel, he leaves the ring and enters the main body of the casino. The tunnel leads to a catwalk overlooking the underworks. A huge chasm of pipes and tunnels stretches out below him. Faint hisses of gas and cracks of electrical systems echo through the chamber.

Ramps and ladders lead onwards from here. The lower communications spire would be a bit of a walk and climb, but he should be able to manage.

She mmms... "Oh, we have had a few early arrivals. Don't worry. I'll take care of you..." She puts a hand on her hip... looking over her shoulder back at him with a smile... sending a tingle down his spine. The longer he is with her, the harder it is to look away. She is just so... pretty.

Kether wrote:He will take that detour after all finding people is the priority here

Its a bit of a walk... but less so than going to the west. The area is open enough... booths stand empty behind roped admission lines. The lights above them red, indicating being empty... except the one on the end. Which is green. He sees the outline of someone standing in the booth... but its too far away and dark to make out any more.
