It's occurred to me there's something about the idea of this RP that I made more clear in my original draft of the OOC introduction: A bunch of NPCs in the form of islanders are around. I was originally going to handle all of them myself, and I'm still willing to do that, but if someone has a neat idea for a side character to throw in in some role in the town, like a shopkeep or restaurateur or something, feel free to ask about including them to appear at some point. The hotel staff are the only locals in the hotel, though, and none are in the lounge or hallways much, so no worries there.

For now, I'm just noting this because I have an idea in my head already for the hotel restaurant's chef. As it currently stands, Elliot probably saw him/was seen by him while getting the food he now has in the lounge, but they didn't have any particularly interesting conversation. If/when any of our characters head in there for breakfast, especially anyone already in their 'alternate' form, it will be a good opportunity for a little exposition to them, so they aren't spinning wheels wondering what's going on forever. It'll also allow an in-character explanation of why the locals didn't warn anyone about the curse the night before.

This is just to let you know there'll be a response from me if/whenever someone walks into the restaurant next; please do not take it as any sort of request to rush things in that direction.

Name: James Trevelyan/ Jenny
Gender: Male originally, female when transformed.
Age: 20
Personality: Rather carefree and happy demeanor. James likes to goof off and have fun with his friends. Generally easy to get along with and likes making friends. He's rarely serious and tends to be a bit irresponsible at times. A bit hyperactive.
Mental changes: When in her transformed state she becomes even more hyperactive, and rather silly and ditzy as well. She also starts to act more cat like in mostly subtle ways.
Original Appearance: Brown haired six foot tall skinny white dude. He has hazel eyes and slightly above average in looks. His hair is short and messy.
Shifted Appearance: Like this
Triggers: Being tickled triggers the transformation. The only way for her to change back to normal is to cry.
Background/History: James is a college student currently between classes, he isn't sure what major he wants to pursue and isn't entirely happy with where his life is headed. He heard about this neat island that sounded like a great place to relax, make friends, and think about where he wants to go in life, he decided that it was worth checking out and put the rest of his life on hold for this little trip. What's the worst that could happen?

There, is that good? =3

That will do great.

For the purpose of entering, nearly the whole present cast is in the restaurant diner having breakfast on the first morning, so a good opportunity to show up would be to just walk in there. James might notice that some of the people in the restaurant have unusual appearances of one sort or another, things like Karl currently being a girl with the ears and tail of a wolf, but he also might not at first if he isn't paying attention, and he might dismiss it as costumes or something. They're all up at the front bar where the chef is, and there's probably at least one or two empty seats still there.
