Kids Next Door RP (OOC Thread)

Here's an AR/TG idea,, based on the Popular show of Cartoon Network, Codename: Kids Next Door. created by Mr. Warburton, the show features the kids from Sector 5. Five young children, ranging from 9 to 11, have banded together to stop adult and teenager tyranny! They fight for less homework and candy, as well as other things kids like these days. Opposing the KND are the Delightful Children from Down the Lane (DCFDTL). They are led by a firey (really firery) villain called Father. Father employs many KND villains/minions to thwart the KND, but Nigel Uno/Numbuh 1, Hoagie Gilligan/Numbuh 2, Kuki Sanban/Numbuh 3, Wally Beatles/Numbuh 4, and Abigail Lincoln/Numbuh 5 are the members of Sector 5,, and they usually defeat the usual villains, like Count Spank-U-Lot (represents kids' fears of being punished by spanking). Count Spank-U Lot can convert those kids he spanks with his ungloved hand into vampire minions, for example. The KND operatives live in a treehouse built around Nigel's house with a security system and their wonderful 2X4 technology (taught in the KND Cadet training center).

Sounds interesting. Would we stick to the 9-11 limit, or could we go younger/older? And I assume we'd be TF'd into the kids rather than start out as them? I really like the whole thing about the kids fears manifesting as villains.

I believe so. that way the new kids will have to go through the KND Cadet training, learn how to assemble 2X4 Technology and live in a treehouse assigned to a certain sector.

Villains from the series included:

Knightbrace - an evil denist who wants to put braces on kids - manifests as a fear of the denist/wearing braces

Grandma Stuffins - Eldery Grandma who forces kids to eat large amounts of food, attacks with food monsters
Count Spank-U-Lot -Kids don't like being spanked.


Most of the kids were about 3rd to 4th grade level, because there was a 4th Grade President in the episode Operatrion: PRESIDENT. This episode was a parody of Air Force One. The Delightfuls send a robotic replica of the 4th Grade President to replace the original one to side with the school board and make it tough for kids in school (more homework, extra hours at school, etc). They even encoutered a Were-Poodle at school (a girl in Abigail Lincoln's class becomes a were-poodle and destroys kids' homework assignments.

The Six Gum Gang: These notorius bandits were hired by the Delightful Children to steal kids' homework and the delightful's make copies of the assignment, leaving the other kids without their homework assignments.

Bullies: The ultimate problem any kid faces in elementary school is the schoolyard bully, be it boy or girl. These people make it rough for any kid to study and learn.

Actually, the kids' fears in this rpg are a major plot device by Father and his minions, including a new fear-based villain who can infiltrate kids' dreams, and induce nightmarish manifestations of their worst fears. For example, a young girl in one of the episodes featuring new and upcoming cadets, Lee, Tommy (Hoagie's little Brother) and Susie has a fear of the dark. Father invades the KND HQ in search of the KND Code Modulator (has all info on all the KND operatives who are active members). He sends a fake distress signal to Numbuh 86 (Fran), the decommissioning officer at KND HQ posing as Fran, and leaves the Cadets all alone to run a simulation as per their training. The kids believe the invasion is part of the simulation, until Lee and Susie discover the invasion was all a part of Father's plan all along.





You can google The Kids Next door cartoon and find out more about mission specs and the various villains. Father is the ultimate baddie of the series. As an authoritative character, he has at his disposal the Delightfuil Children who live down the Lane (former kids who underwent brainwashing via the Delightfulization Chamber. These kids are now completly loyal to Father and often hire out other villains. A running theme with these 5 kids is they speak in unison, and usually have cake for their birthday, which the KND often try to take from them, promising free cake for all kids!

Nigel Uno, Hoagie Gilligan, Kuki Sanban, Wally Beatles, and Abby Lincoln are the featured kids (Sector 5), but there will be new KND operatives that the original KND will train. Those are for the the rpers to play as.
