It was a dark and rainy night off the coast of a small New England town, it was the cold sort of autumn rain that chilled flesh.

[Knight Errant]

The inky water beneath the docks churn and swirl, as a the dark figure of the Lurker emerges from the salty spray. This was the night he had told the villagers to chain a woman to a rusty anchor just off the old disused dock. Their fate hinged on what he would find...

His flippers make a damp squishing sound as he walks up the slimy stone steps carved into the side of the dock, his horrible face smiling as the chilly rain beats down on him. It was a beautiful night. Finally reaching the top, he looks to see what he will find!

[Kether]

*there seems to be a cloaked figure tied to the anchor.. the large breasts poking out even from the concealment would argue strongly to a female victim*

[Knight Errant]

The lurker nods, with a gurgling chuckle. He approaches the figure and begins speaking in the same gurgling tones. "Fear not, human... your death will be painless... and for the glory of the Elder Gods. If you find that not comforting... know your life means this village will be spared."

the woman throws off the cloak apparently unchained, "One good thing about the change is i no longer need to find someone to play bait..oh yes"She flicks her wand in his direction and a sigil of green flame forms around the deep one

[Knight Errant]

Go'Besh frowns. "Your foolishness means the death of all of the pitiful creatures living here... Know that and feel despair before I crush the life out of you."

He lowers his head, speaking in a horrid tongue. "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn."

There is a loud rush, as the waves of the ocean crash up the dock... going to encircle the Lurker and hopefully extinguish the flame with its dark water. Meanwhile, he continues chanting... the strange words feeling like drills into the woman's mind... pushing her towards madness.

*The flames rise higher boiling away the sea as it comes*

Go'Besh glares, his chant ceasing. "You serve Nodens... hunter of the Great Ones? Be that as it is... you will not find me easy prey!" He coils his thick legs, jumping vertically with a *whoom!* High up in the air, a fell breeze buffets the Deep One as he splays out his flippers. Pushing him out towards the sea!

[Kether]

she reaches down and picks up a spear, saying herown quick chant and throws it at the back of the fleeing Deepone intending to impale him*

[Knight Errant]

And... the Lurker is impaled! Before crashing into the waves with a loud splash! Thrashing and cursing beneath the waves, he goes to pull out the spear!

[Kether]

she starts realing him back in as the lurker finds the spear holds tight.. seeming to burn through his body.. his scales start to fall to the ground*

[Knight Errant]

The Deep One, feeling in quite mortal danger, twists around and claws at the rope holding the spear!

[Kether]

*the rope burns, the scales on his fingers completely flake off leaving behind a pink daintish hand*

[Knight Errant]

"Aaaagh! What is this?!" He lets go as he is hauled out of the surf and back onto the dock. Turning and glaring. "I will have your blood for this!" He roars... lunging towards the woman and going to bite her throat!

*a net pulls up as he dives at her trapping him in a similarly material as the rope*
