It's a bright, sunny day in the city of Mawaro. The morning sun beats down on the many commuters and all the students making their way to their chosen institutes of learning. Everything is as it should be.

Except...

Somewhere in at the edge of town, a small shadow jumps from rooftop to rooftop, in pursuit of a goal as of yet unknown.

A bright pink convertible pulls into the college parking lot, with some generic poppy music blaring from it's speakers. Leaning over to the passenger seat, Jessica reaches out to stroke the head of the little white bichon frise pup that poked it's head out of her white leather purse, and then stepped out of the car, sliding the strap of the bag over her shoulder.

She wore a pair of strappy white sandals with high heels and a sunflower across the top of each foot, shapely legs left almost bare, a tiny white skirt hugging her hips and thighs, while her flat tummy was exposed too, a pale yellow cropped t-shirt hugging her full breasts tightly, some faded pale blue writing across the chest. Her pale blonde hair was drawn up in a ponytail behind her head, a white scrunchie around the base before it flopped down almost to her waist, and she wore a pair of large, dark sunglasses to complete the outfit.

Tossing the keys into her purse beside the puppy, she strolled across the parking lot, her heels clicking and her hips swishing, chewing on a stick of gum, and headed for the main entrance of the college.

Nick walked briskly down the street, heading to his fathers music store. Sure, he could have driven, but the store wasn't too far from his home, and it was such a good day out, it would be a shame to waste it. Sunny days always put him in such a good mood, that he couldn't help but to smile today. Of course, his mood could rarely be described as foul even in the middle of a flood or a blizzard, but it was just better all around when it was sunny out.

He wore a black t shirt, a pair of faded blue jeans, and a pair of converse sneakers, which tended to be his usual attire, which was no problem since there was no dress code at the shop, other than a tag that displayed his name for the customers. Nick quickly checked his pocket to make sure the tag was there, nodding to himself when he found it.

He rounded the final corner onto the street where the shop was located. He pulled the tag out of his pocket and stuck it to his shirt, and then entered the shop.

While all the other lucky citizens of Mawaro were heading off to learn about the finer points of life, Bastion was receiving an incredibly detailed, hands-on lesson on how to deal with a morning hangover. Currently, he just finished going through the first, most crucial step: Violently vomiting out all the contents of his stomach.

"Jeez, I only drank a few beers." The half-conscious man bleached as he finally stripped himself away from the toilet he spent the last half hour retching his organs into. Not all of it managed to make it into the bowl, but Bastion honestly couldn't care less. After all, the bathroom, much like the rest of his dumpy little apartment, was trashed enough already. He'll get it washed later.... And by later, he meant never. "Or was it a few packs? Ugh, I can't remember a damn thing."

After wiping away the lingering strands of spit on his mouth, Bastion walked/stumbled into his apartment's lousy excuse for a kitchen and searched through the drawers and cabinets, hoping to find something that would fill his empty stomach. Nope, not even a crumb of bread anywhere.

"****.... As if my morning couldn't get any worse." He grumbled to himself before grabbing an old, dusty jacket off a nearby table, exiting his apartment, and making his way out onto the streets. He hated going out, but it was either that or go hungry for the rest of the day. He'll just run over to the grocery nearby and grab some quick eats.

Was it ironic that Hal--a man whose whole source of income involved cars--preferred to walk along the city sidewalks rather then drive down the streets? Perhaps slightly, but he found that it helped his mind percolate, somehow. That--and it was much easier for him to admire his own handiwork in the machines parked along the curbs when meandering to a destination then when hurtling towards it. Cheaper, too.

And unlike the unnoticed shadow, whatever nature of person or thing that it was, he certainly was meandering, only the most casual of goals in his mind. One hand stuck idly into the pocket of his light coat, he hums to himself quietly, running his other hand over the hood of a stranger's vehicle as he moseys past it, not entirely satisfied with the design of it. He'd have to consider alternative designs when he eventually got back to his house from this morning walk out to buy a newspaper.
He would be due to get into the office sometime later, of course...but they generally didn't need him to be there in person most of the time.

Zeke however, was still in bed. Well, as close as a dirty matress on the floor came to a bed. He rolled over and stood up, surveying the dozing bodies on the floor, the empty bottles, cans and pizza boxes littering the place. Man, that was some party last night. "All right! Everyone up and out!" he yelled. Several groans filled the room as his hung over underlings clutched their heads.

"Quit yer bellyachin'! You're lucky I let you guys party at my place!" The bodies slowly began to get up and file out of the place, rubbing their eyes and occasionally retching. As soon as the place was empty, Zeke got up and had a quick shower before getting dressed, also completely unaware of the shadow.

Keith is awoken by the sound of his alarm clock. Groggily he gets to his feet and stretches with a long yawn. He heads down stairs and pours himself a bowl of cereal and sits on his couch watching some random show and eating his breakfast. He takes his time eating, having given himself plenty of time to do so before he heads to work.

After finishing his breakfast he turns off the tv and takes his bowls to the kitchen, putting them into the sink. He finishes his morning routine. Brushing his teeth and getting dressed for work at the post office. Going out to his car he sits there for a couple moments letting it warm up and closing his eyes relaxing in the car.

Lloyd brushed his teeth as he got ready for another routine day at work. His cat Skittles rubbed his leg, telling him he was hungry. Lloyd finished with his teeth and walked into the kitchen as he finished tieing his tie. He grabbed a bunch of cat foot and put it on the bowl for Skittles to eat. He looked outside with a regretful sigh before walking out of his appartment , twirling his car keys. He didn't have a bad life to complain about, but he wished that something new happened. You know... to spice things up a little.

Ahh, the morning! What a beautiful thing it is~ Unbeknownst to most teenagers, the morning starts with the Sunrise. Norman is one of the few of said teenagers to experience this event every day, and today would be no different. Up at 5 AM, sharp, the alarm blares in his room. By 5:30, he's showered and dressed. With a hearty meal of shreddies and toast by his side, he starts on his homework. It's worth to sacrifice his useless evenings, to be fully charged to do his homework, little that he has. At 8, his wrist-watch beeps again, causing him to pack up all his work, and put on his shoes. His mom gives him his lunch, and he leaves his house to go to school.

~ Jessica ~

To everyone's surprise, Jessica arrives at the main entrance to her chosen institute of learning safely. Serious, how does she walk like that without tripping over her own heels? Will she also make it to her first class? Stay tuned!

~ Nick ~

Nick, too, arrives safely at his destination. He finds... that the people from the previous shift are still almost all here. He seems early. Some of them greet him cheerfully.

~ Bastion ~

For no sufficiently explored reason, a local, early afternoon shower pours down on Bastion - and no-one else. Maybe he grossed out a diety somewhere, and he needed to be cleaned? Either way, he arrives at the local super, wet, hopefully clean, but otherwise in pretty much the same state as he left his house.

~ Hal ~

Hal's meandering and paper-buying earns him the sight of tons of more cars, and a newpaper. The newspaper brings tidings of accidents, scandals and inane chatter about some mundane issue in the reader's letters section.

~ Zeke ~

For reason's unknown, Zeke isn't abducted by aliens in the shower. Maybe they took the day off? He emerges, well, showered. Hopefully clean, too.

~ Keith ~

The car warms up! Not like it wasn't warm already. Hot, even, having stood under the hot sun for most of the morning. Let's hope he has airco.

~ Lloyd ~

Lloyd spots... an empty pepper container besides his car? Weird. His car is exactly as he left it, probably in usable state.

~ Norman ~

Norman's getting up early nets him the first-place finish in the race to his classroom - or would, if there had been such a thing. Before long, other students start trickling in. Were there more of the surprisingly local showers?

Another normal day, looks like. All the same news as normal, and no new ideas so exciting that he felt the need to rush home. Instead, Hal simply sat down at a bench that he tended to frequent in a nearby park, paging through the paper, vaguely considering how much longer he'd be able to keep up this standard of living--thy liked his designs though, but redundancy was a worry that floated constantly at the edge of his mind. Nothing out of the ordinary though. Letting his mind wander, he flips the page.

"Hey everyone." Nick says to his fellow employees. He looked down at his watch and shrugged. Oh well, being early never hurt anyone. he thought. He then looked around the shop to see if there was anyone who may need some help.

"Damn it." Bastion mumbles to himself as he drags his soggy self into the store, leaving behind a trail of muddy brown footprints that stain the white floor. It was bright and sunny when he walked outside! How the heck could it.... Ugh, whatever. "God hates me. That's all I need to know."

After wringing out some of the rain water from his rags, he wanders around the super market, hoping to find something that's on sale. That's the only way he can afford things nowadays.

Lloyd took the can and looked over it curiously. He looked around trying to see if someone left it, but probably found no one. Maybe someone left it there accidentally? Oh well. He still has to get to work, so might as well go. He got on the car and left on the road to work, placing the can on the passenger seat.

OOC: Sorry for being late.....

It was morning. This automatically made it a bad thing. Well, to be honest, it wasn't the fact that it was morning that made it bad, it was the fact that it meant Edward had to get up.
With this in mind, he was already in an irritable mood. Combine that with it being a school day and it only made things worse. In a strange form of pointless resistance, he wound up staying in bed until about ten minutes before the bus arrived before actually getting up, throwing on some clothes and head off to get the bus.

At the age of 18, Edward was currently drifting through his third year of sixth form, the others who had originally been in his year already having moved to to jobs or universities, leaving him on his own to dwell in his own indecision.

It doesn't matter he would say to himself, I've done without much in the way of friends for over a decade now, I'm not going to start dwelling on people who have already gone

This was, unfortunately true. Ever since the start of primary school, Edward had been the victim of almost perpetual bullying which only in the past 3 years had started to ease off. As he had learned early on, there is something about primary schools in small villages that tends to create a conformist society; one person would become a sort of leader whom everyone would follow, and if you were not on good terms with that leader, well, don't expect anyone to want to have anything to do with you.
Edward just happened to be despised by said leader figure and also happened to be in a school where the staff seemed have a remarkable talent for looking the other way, especially if you did not get along with the school's zealot of a headmistress.

But for now, that's enough of that.
Right now, we are focusing on the present.

Living in a small village, Edward did not have the option of walking to collage. With this in mind, he normally got there by bike. A bike which was currently dead on its wheels, forcing its owner to resort to a bus route which would cost £2 each way for a 10 minute trip. It was only because it was a private hired bus that they could get away with charging such rates and with a total lack of any public transport to the village, collage goers didn't have much choice.

So now out of pocket and out of patience, Edward stepped down off the bus and through the back gates of the collage.
I'm looking at the world through a Jaffa-cake filling.....

Let the loli's hit the floor.....
