Most dark castles loom forebodingly. This one, while certainly foreboding, does not loom. It dominates, it imposes, but it definitely does not loom. Even though its pitch-black shape is barely visible against the night sky, the sheer sense of size is almost enough to crush a man's spirit.
You have no idea how you got here. One moment you were going about your usual business, the next you find yourself staring at a non-looming dark castle. Looking around you shows a veil of almost palpable darkness shrouding the surroundings. Gutteral, bone-chilling animal howls are more felt than heard, closing in on you, the hapless victim. When finally the heavy wooden gates creak noisily open, you're not sure whether to feel relieved to have found a place to run to, or to dread what is waiting for you inside...

Jason glances around as the heavy wooden gates creak open. He was going about his daily life, and suddenly wound up here. Scared-stiff from all of the animal howls and other various things, Jason pauses for a moment, before slowly stepping through the open gates, frantically glancing around.

Jace was just minding his own buisness. A simple delivery to the barber shop, but somehow a rutine delivery ended up getting him stuck in what seems to be an Horror movie. He looks around trying to get his bearrings, but he has abosolutely no idea where he is or where to go. As the gates open, common sense says that someonw had to open the gates so that means theres someone nearby which means a posible explanation. Also common sense says to get his ass out of there before he wants to become animal food. So with that he crosses the gate.

Oddly enough, there is not a soul in sight. (How do you see souls anyway?) The open gates lead straight into the castle's bowels, a small entryway emerging into a long, heigh-ceilinged corridor. There is dust everywhere, covering indiscernable paintings lining the walls on both sides. Doors are found ever few yards, leading off to who knows where. However, despite the caverness vastness of the place, there isn't a sound to be heard.

Noticing the doors, Jason pauses when he sees Jace. "Glad to see I'm not alone in this..."

Gina gave a small, startled squeal upon experiencing the sound of an animal howling somewhere, seemingly close by to her. Hugging herself out of fright, she observed the place she found herself in a little more. She didn't know what happened; one moment she was curled up with a good book, and then the next she was standing in this spooky and horrifying place. Perhaps she had accidentally fallen asleep while reading?
"Y-- Yeah, this has to be a nightmare. That's all it is." She mumbled to herself as she stared at the large, dark castle before her. After giving herself a quick, painful pinch, she found that nothing had changed, and she hadn't woken up. A loud, slow creaking caused a tingle to run all the way up her body to her hair, and when she looked, she saw that it was coming from the pair of large, wooden doors ahead of her.
"I don't want to go in there..." She said as she took a step back. Almost as soon as she did, the howl returned, but louder and closer this time. Giving a loud scream, she ran for the doors, hoping that the inside would be safer.

Gina finds herself in a similarly dusty, portrait-lined corridor, with doors every few meters. Like Jason and Jace, she finds that no-one's around... not even Jason and Jace.

Mike walked though the tall opened gates of the castle. He took a long sigh and fear was on his face. Mike shiver a bit as if he was cold and then looked around. Each step made him closer to the castle as he tried to gather his thoughts.
"How the heck I got involve in this?" asked Mike. He then had a downcasted look on his face as he remembered and then shook his head. Mike was slowly making his way towards the door of the huge castle.

"I don't like this." Gina said as she took in her surroundings. It was just too spooky, and all of the dust that covered the corridor was enough to make her gag slightly. She never did like the touch or look of huge piles of dust, and such a thing always prevented her from being able to properly clean areas with it. 'So gross...'
Carefully making her way to one of the nearest doors, she decided to see if she could open it, hoping that the inside wouldn't be as bad as the outside. Her eyes made a quick scan of the portraits before trying the knob, feeling the weight of countless eyes upon her.

Mike apparently approaches one of the many dozen doors... also separate from any of the others!
Gina mutters to herself in the dusty hallways...
( Feel free to explore. You'll know when you come across something interesting. )

Mike eventually stops in front of a door. His hands were out reached since he was about to crash into it. Mike took a deep breath and shrugged. He knew that there was no other way to go and he might as well go though it.
"Here we go," said Mike in a soft voice. He then opened the door widely and ran into it hoping that the inside wasn't as bad as the outside.

[Ah, I thought I already did open one of the doors. Guess I forgot to include that at the end. XD]
Shaking her head to get rid of the feeling of being watched, Gina pushed open the door and stepped inside. "H-- Hello? Is there anybody here?" She called out nervously within the room, hoping that there wouldn't be even more dust.

~Jace + Jason~
Jace follows the... corridor, the OOC assumes? Still more portraits line the walls, as do more doors. The young man seems to be completely oblivious to Jason, who's probably trailing after him, trying to get his attention. The corridor continues deeper into the bowels of the castle...
~Mike~
Mike opens a random door! The inside is... covered in a cloud of dust, swept up by his sudden arrival. It attacks his nose and throat making him cough and sneeze violently. There seem to be no ill effects... For the moment.
The inside of the room is... a bedroom? It's hard to make out its contents, since all of it is rotted and decayed. A tingle along his spine warns him of... something?
~Gina~
Gina finds another dustcloud inside another room! The effect is much the same though. After sneezing and coughing for what seems to be an eternity, the dust settles down to reveal another rotted and decayed room. She too feels a tingle of.... something...

"Hey, wait! Maybe we should stick together or something!" Jason yells to Jace as he chases after him.
