King [The Wishing Begins]

How long had it been since the King had arrived? Months, it seemed like, and it was probably the case. How many wishes had been fulfilled during that time? Enough to lose track of all of them. While they started off minor, things had been escalating to a dangerous level recently, such as one of the new teachers going missing recently - the teacher being a sibling of one of the students at the school.

David stood outside the wooden door of class 2A during fourth period that Friday, his phone flipped open to a certain page. Like every week, it was going to happen again, a school merger or not. It would soon be King Time. This week was probably going to have a dangerous wish, what with all of the non-believers from the new school showing up and doubting their beloved King. Luckily, the wishes weren't granted right away and would take a little while to work when it did occur.

Suddenly it began, he could hear the chanting from inside the room "King! King! King! King!" with the sound of hands hitting desks in unison with the chanting. Soon after, the screen on David's phone changed, giving a screen that read, quite simply:

"Once again, today I will grant one wish of the chosen people. Tell me your wish."

David quickly typed in "Make it rain tomorrow" in an attempt for the wish that's picked to be a harmless one, but it hadn't worked in the past so he didn't have much faith in the idea.

Eventually, the page changed to a new one, one depicting the wish that would be granted over the next few days. And David went wide-eyed, as he was sure most of the other males did as well. Did some spiteful little girl get her wish granted, or what? "Please turn all of the boys into various typed of girls."

On the other hand, chances were high this wish wouldn't get granted. It was waaaay too impossible.

" Silence ! Taisez-vous ! " snapped Mr. Dupont. There was no way he was going to tolerate any mayhem in his classroom. Hammering the table like a part of the students was doing was absolutely unacceptable. They were in a school, not a prison. He would have liked to lecture them about that in French but knew too well that it wouldn't be as efficient as a stern sound most of them probably didn't understand.

While he had expected some agitation as a consequence of the school merger since his own relocation wasn't pleasant. He couldn't help but notice that the students causing the ruckus were faces unknown to him, therefore, original student from Himetsubaki High School.

*Takeru didn't really trust King. Not that he didn't believe in him. No, there was far too much proof to be chalked up to coincidences. He just felt that someone with that kind of power had to be up to something. So, as usual, when King Time came, he just pulled out his book and started reading. He'd check for the new wish later.*

Miss Megan Matthews paced back and forth infront of a door, another female teacher stood infront of it, the sound of her heels clicking against the floor. "It's gone too far now, something has to be done to put an end to it. My first period class had a test this morning, and yet all they were talking about is this King! It's time they grew up and stopped believing in magic! If the principal won't do anything about it... I will! We need to stop it now before the new kids start obsessing too. I'll be handing out detention for any more mention of it, and I'll be seeing the IT people to see if we can find out who's behind this joke".

Lance walks into the school as the ruckus is at it's full glory. He can see as some school staff members try to stop the 'kids'for a better word. He had heard rumors of a 'King' that would grant wishes and supposedly they would come true. Of course, Lance thought it was all bullsh*t. Still school would be annoying for these next few days until the schools completely merge and everything hopefully goes back to normal. Lance walked by the crowd not ever sparing a glance. He walked up the stairs to his homeroom and sat down in his chair as he waited for class to start. He layed back on his chair and looked outside, before taking out his cellphone. "Yeah... right..." he said sarcrasticly.

Karl Reece, age 16, was in Ms. Matthews's class (what does she teach, anyway), when all the chaos ensued over this "King Time," and he was very upset about it. He was transferred to this new school, when his parents heard about the worship of this "king" and hoped the new school would have some sort of zero tolerance policy over this disruption.

"Ms. Matthews, is there anything I can do to help? I have a bad feeling about this. This happened at my old high school, and my parents had to move after certain incidents happened." He seemed to become quiet about those incidents.

/Jack didn't believe in this so-called 'King'. Not really. It was just too ludicrous....and yet, yet if it was real, that would be something indeed...

As he sat at his desk in Mr. Dupont's classroom, his hand pressed against his chin contemplatively, his ace darkened, though. real or not, would this student body really hold respect for him as their leader with their hearts and minds stolen by this so-called 'King'? Even his--if indeed it was man behind this--title was already undermining his authority among the student body!

Pulling his tie straight, he shook his head, looking down at the phone. First he needed to see what the King could do. Then he would see about becoming the new King--no, the Emperor, of this school!/

Miss Matthews was a teacher of.... English! She turns at the sound of her name, and looks down at the boy for a moment before smiling. "You certainly can", she said, and slipped an arm around his shoulders, leading him down the hall towards the room the students had been making noise in, leaning down a little to speak to him as they walked.

"Rather than be productive with their free period, the students in the room down here, along with many others have chosen to waste it playing this silly internet game. I want you to start spreading the word around, that from now on, any mention of it will be punished with a dentention". Stopping outside the door to class 2A, she pulled her arm back from around him, settling both hands on her hips. "Think you can do that?".

Karl Reece nods, hoping none of the "devotees" to the King would seek retribution on him for relaying his English teacher's orders. "I will go to the principal's office and make your declaration known to the student populace, Ms. Matthews...if that is okay with you?" He gets a hall pass..."I need a hall pass, Ms. Matthews. I don't want to get in trouble for skipping class."

The young woman shakes her head, reddish brown hair neatly held in a ponytail and tied close to the back of her head. "I can do that myself. I want you to tell your fellow students, not as some official announcement, but just let them know how things are going to work around here now". Her eyes narrow a little at David. "Why are you standing outside? Did your new teacher send you out here for mis-behaving?", she asks, leaning a little closer to the boy.

Alex was sitting in ms.matthews class his hair hiding the earphones of his ipod as he listens to bfmv sitting there getting annoyed at all this stuff about a "king" as he pulls out his ipod and turns the volume all the way up to hopefully drown out most of this chanting as he sits there looking around

Karl looks over at David and then at Ms. Matthews..."How should I go about telling these kids about them getting detention without getting myself in over my head with very irate and devoted people. You know how cults are, Ms. Matthews; you say back stuff about their leader, or investigate it, they'll start sending their threats and then they'll harass you constantly. I had to transfer here because it got so bad at my other school."

Jeremy Thatcher sat in a classroom, alone and solitude, igoring the advent of King Time. He only once had made a wish, the week after his sister vanished....well, twice maybe. King Time...his little games were only a distraction. The little, text me your wishes thing....He had to have enormous influence. But, unlike the rest of the students, he never got caught up in the frenzy of it all. He had plans....countless of them...but, well, without other students to help him, nothing would get done. As long as they were enamored with the little bastered.....Everything would remain the same. If....If..there were some many of them he considered, it was a blur now....it hardly mattered. So, in defeat, he settles to reading.

Karl got his cell phone and saw the King Time wish list. One of them said, "Please turn all the boys into various types of girls.." He then shows this to Ms. Matthews. "Ms. Matthews, look at this; this message appeared on the King Time message board. This cannot be good, right? " He said in a panic..."I mean, if this wish was granted, and all the boys in this school, and the male teachers became girls, what would happen?"

David sighed. Nobody seemed to be making a big fuss over the newest wish expected to occur, so were they just going to accept it or did nobody think it was possible? He hoped it was the latter, since if anyone was to accept something as improbable as the male student body being turned female, they'd probably be crazy. Though, there were two missing females as a result of the wishing: his friend Li's sister, whom was a teacher here, and a girl with the last name Thatcher - probably not a Japanese girl by the sounds of it.

The boy was startled when a teacher suddenly asked him about his reasoning for being outside the classroom. Megan Matthews... There had been an increasing number of non-Japanese around lately. Oh well, not that he cared. He quickly put his act together, having thought this far ahead to begin with. "Ah... sorry. I have a hallpass, you see!" He flashed the piece of paper, signed by his teacher, Mr. Sotomura, "I was feeling kind of dizzy on my way to the washroom, however, so I decided to rest here for a moment! Sorry for being a bother!" If she was suspicious, it wouldn't be surprising. It did flow kind of weird, especially since the time was around King Time...

"David! Did you read the wish!? That can't happen, right!?" The voice of his friend Li Yin shouted as he rounded the corner, stopping in his tracks when he saw the teacher.

The red headed boy sweatdropped. Idiot.
