Think away, friend. In light of recent (bad) news, this RP might not start for a good long while.

Really... whats up?
O Muse!
Sing in me, and through me tell the story
Of that man skilled in all the ways of contending,
A wanderer, harried for years on end...

Well, I wasn't going to bring it up, but... my grandpa died, and in a few days or so we'll be driving down to Arkansas for his funeral. Not likely I'll be in the vicinity of an Internet-capable computer during that time, and I don't know how long we'll be gone.

So you guys have plenty of time for tweaking.

AWRRAAAAIIIIIGGHHHHHT!

Ahem. Sorry. Anyway, I'm back, and since I'm such a nice guy, all you guys that posted are in. But, this is it. No late-comers.

You may start wherever you like in the Capital Wasteland, but make sure we can all meet up at some point that will be determined later. And it would also help to be listening to the radio, either station.

Oh, and you all have Pipboy 3000As. You can make your own reasons for having them, or no reason at all.

Neph is co-GM, since he asked so nicely. 8)

Now let's get this train wreck a'rollin'!

That sucks! I still haven't thought up a character! I have to stop taking so many breaks from posting on MSF.

I look forward to watching this :)

I've had Fallout 3 forever and never played it, but tried it out yesterday after reading this. I'm slooow with games though, I wouldn't have been ready to RP it for months!

Lav: You don't need to know every last secret there is to every Fallout game ever. You'll most likely just need a basic understanding of Fallout 3, some outstanding characters like Three Dog, certain locations, and the like.

But if there's something I mention in the RP that you think, "What the hell is that?" just look at the very first post of this thread (sign-up) and click the link to the Fallout 3 wiki.

I've always over-looked it as it didn't seem my type of game, but I loved Oblivion! I've been playing for about 4 hours before realising I could use the.. uh.. pause the action and pick a body part type combat. I'm horrible at shooting >.<

VATS is awesome. 'Nuff said. There's nothing quite like removing the head of a Super Mutant with a Hunting Rifle. In SLOOOOOOOW MOOOOOOOOSHHHHHUUUUUUUUN.

But I don't recommend VATS for sniping. Sniping is much easier and more effective "free-handed". Just a friendly tip.

Even better? Shoot a Super Mutant in the head so hard they explode. WITH A BB GUN. Yeah, really.

And yeah, Ginny, you should totally sign up. Just sayin'.

Once, I totally pasted a Raider with a Combat Shotgun at point-blank with the Bloody Mess perk. I'm talkin' not even a discernable chunk of person left, just a few eyeballs and a sea of blood.

I was like, "HEEEEELL YEAH!"

Name: Blake 'Longbreath' Diver
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Appearance: Tall, broad, and usually bare chested to show off his network of scars, radiation burns, and tattoos.
Occupation: Known as a 'Skeleton Diver', Blake is a fifth generation wreck diver. He and his family make a living using jurry-rigged prewar scuba gear to explore half sunken and wholly sunken buildings, ships, and submarines for pre-war technology to use or sell at Rivet City. Protection against the radiation would make fitting into the debris-choked corridors of the places they haunt impossible... so they go in for RadX and RadAway in a big way.
Personality: Gruff to most of the people he meets, his stoic and sour demeanor drops once he gets to know you... and you find out he has quite a good sense of humor. He lives by the eat drink and be merry code... because for Skeleton Divers tomorrow dosent come more often than not. Blake's family is the best at it... but even so he takes his life into his hand with every dive.
Karma: Neutral
Preferred Weapons: He uses a spear, a machete, and a speargun to fight off what he finds on the job. (Mirelurks... or worse...) And some of the better military grade pre-war energy weapons he scavenges against those enemies who dont breathe water.
Starting Armor: Reinforced Leather jacket and pants.

S: 8

P: 6

E: 8

C: 2

I: 4

A: 4

L: 8

So... what do you think?

And my favorite? Shooting someone in the leg and watching their head explode, and the rest of their limbs fly off... for no reason.
