Destiny of Fates: RP

The city is vast. It covers most of the flanks of the mountains that cradle it from three directions, and runs out along the shore of the sea towards the North. One wonders why no one beside the nameless city's inhabitants had ever heard of it, but that's the way it is.
The city boasts an airport, although there are very few inbound planes. There is also a harbor and a large train station, although the only passengers that arrive have either been there before or never intended to come in the first place.
Fortunately for those confused travelers, the city sports an ever growing number of houses and appartments, for extremely attractive prices. Anything they need to buy anew is easily obtained at any of the local malls, and work can be easily found at any of the many stores, restaurants or businesses located in the city.

Today finds the city bathing in bright sunlight. It is summer, and everyone is in a bright mood. As of yet, nothing out of the ordinary has happened today. Though, for a select group of new visitors, this may soon change...

Down an empty ally light bent and was pushed away as a portal formed, displaying a flaming battlefield for a moment as two figures tumbled out. Both seemed to be teenage girls at a quick glance, but looking directly at them showed they were no ordinary girls as they stood up. The taller one had skin that was almost pitch black, except for where she was bleeding red from several wounds, and in many places a hard shell seemed to cover her skin. In one hand was a axe, the other a flail, and both appeared to be made out of energy as they glowed brightly with a blue light. The other girl was shorter, and wore what looked to be a black and red military style uniform. Around her torso was a bandoleer of grenade like objects, and on her left arm was a shield made of the same glowing blue energy as the dark woman's weapons.

"Damn it!" screamed Alsora as the portal vanished, and she then turned her angry eyes to Gina, "Bring it back!"

"No Alsora," Gina's voice was trembling with fear as she looked up at her former commander, "I can't let you fight against the Roses anymore! Don't you realize what you're doing?"

"They are going to destroy everything! How can you stand by and let them!?" with a primal scream of rage Alsora charged at Gina, bringing her weapons around to crash against the shorter woman's force shield, sending Gina stumbling back several steps.

The scene was repeated several times, Alsora stricking Gina's shield again and again as she screamed in anger. Gina was forced backwards slowly until finally she was pressed against the wall of a nearby building. Alsora brought her weapons up once more, but Gina held out her hand, sending Alsora flying backwards with a telekinetic shove. As Alsora climbed back to her feet with a growl Gina stood tall once more, "Just stop Alsora!" Gina shouted as a stream of water shot from her still extended hand, sending Alsora tumbling backwards out of the ally and into the street.

A car driving down the street honked its horn and slammed on its breaks as Alsora tumbled into its path, but it was too late. The car impacting Alsora was like hitting a large boulder. The front of the car crumpled as it was sent spinning away, and Alsora was sent back off the street to crash through a nearby glass storefront.

As Gina came running out of the ally Alsora stood up with a growl from among the shattered remains of the window, seeming no worse off from the series of events, "If you won't open the portal again Gina, I'll just make you open it!"

With yet another scream of fury Alsora jumped free of the store and charged Gina as the other girl braced herself for the coming blow.

In the station, a confused visitors alight. He looks around for a moment.
'I'm pretty sure this isn't Kansas' he sights.
When boarding the train he had not considered asking anyone if he was in the right station, not wanting to disturb the travellers in a hurry. While in the train he had looked at the unusual countryside through the window and for a moment considered asking the lady in the seat next to him but he didn't dare.

He decided against asking anyone at the station where he now was, not wanting to pass for a fool and picked his luggage, walking to the main deck, hoping to find a train for Kansas.

*In a flash of light and smoke, Ed appears in front of an apartment building somewhere in the city.* What the...? How'd I get here...?

"I really don't think this is Illinois anymore." Alexander says as he looks around after getting off the plane at the Airport.

"How did I end up here. This doesn't look like Florida to me." He says.

"Man, I am so freakin' lost." Snarled Amadeus as he got off his motorcycle. The damn thing was out of gas, he probably had burnt it all trying to escape from this bikers.

"Plus." He mumbled, heaving the bike forward. "I found a city. I'm not stranded in the mountains with no gas."

"Negative." Now looking at his blackberry. "Said city doesn't exist." He pulled out a notebook and began to write.

Our hero finds himself in a lost civilization...

Amadeus is just at one of the city's many entrance, he is a bit above sea level and can see seagulls flying in the distance but not hear the sound of the waves. He could push his motorcycle in the hopes of finding a gas station or take some rest in the last grass field by the road before the city.

Amadeus sat in the grass for a moment to finish the part of the story he was writing. He had been riding all night, he probably deserved a little rest. Only until he was done writing, though. He needed gas.

William soon finds himself lost near the docks. His school had paid a trip in order for students to learn more about the world. Unfortunately William had to take a bathroom brake after he left the boat and when he finished, his whole class has dissapeared. Outside the harbor with no chance to return and in a completely new location, William looks around for anything like a police officer. Someone could probably help him find his missing class. William knew that if he did, his homeroom teacher would beat the stuffing out of him, but it's better than being alone.

He is currently walking alondside the streets trying to find someone that can help him.

The weather is very fine, but there is something unpleasant bellow Amadeus's back, a hard stone hidden under some moss.

"Huh.... This doesn't look like San Francisco to me. Did I take a wrong turn somewhere along the way?" Ethan said to himself as he looked out of the window of his car and surveyed his new surroundings. From the looks of it, he was at a shopping district of some sort, but there was nothing that indicated that he was where he wanted to be. Strange.... He was sure he followed the directions on that piece of paper perfectly. "Eh, no biggie. I'll just take a look around here. Maybe some of the locals can help me figure out where I am."

After pulling off to the side and parking his car on a nearby curb, Ethan exited his car and made his way through the area, looking for something like a cafe or a shop. Surely there will be someone in there who knows their way around!

"Heh." he mumbled, turning to inspect the offending rock.

The rock is ... *Gasp* ... a rock with some moss on it. No bigger than a fist, it shouldn't be hard to remove it.

Amadeus decided not to sweat the little stuff. He needed to get going. Yet... oh, why not? He removes the rock. Grabbing his bike, he began slowly moving toward town.

Before too long, the fight between Alsora and Gina starts attracting attention. Civilians run away, and the police shows up.
"You there, break it up!" A particularly brave policewoman comes running towards them.

---

Victor finds that there are no outbound trains for the rest of the week, to anywhere. There don't seem to be any planned for the right general direction.

---

"You must be the new resident," a tall brunette heads down the stairs in front of the building and approaches Ed. She offers him her hand. "Hey there," she greets him with a smile. 'I'm Lanette. And you are?"

---

Alexander hears a soft chime. An electronic information board somewhere above him changes its text. It now displays the number of his flight and indicates the luggage platform where his bags and such will be appearing shortly.

---

Walking along the docks, William comes across a peculiar sight. Two long bunny ears poke out above a brush a little distance away. They're much too large to belong to a rabbit, though they seem incredibly real.
