Hey, just thought I'd try my hand at one of these. Hope someone will join...

The world of Ridgar has been quite peaceful for the past century or so...but now trouble is growing. It seems something dark and powerful has swallowed up an entire kingdom in the far north. People everywhere are talking about it--wondering if the prophesied Age of Darkness is coming...and where the heroes may be. Nobody is sure exactly what's going on up in the north...there are just too many rumors to work it out.

Ridgar is a land of some magic and some technology. They don't have guns or cars or lasers, but a magically-powered televisions, washers, stoves, and so on are quite commonplace--as well as mana batteries to power portable devices of the sort. Again, everyone still fights with swords, bows, maces, quarterstaves, and so on.
Prophecy points to the appearance of many heroines in the Age of Darkness, each wielding a powerful piece of equipment. The prophesies are quite clear they are female. The heroes of our story, however...are not.
At least not yet.

i have some free time and i haven't done a rp in a while so here's a quick one.

Name: Bob 'Gil' Szqiajfkially (no even he's not sure how to pronounce it correctly, his real last name was lost in a bet when he was a teen)

Profession: technically Bard... though if it makes money or involves hot girls he'll probably have had some training in it so leaning rogue.
Preferred Weapon in Crisis: his trusty bagpipes the music that comes from these infernal devices would make even the deadest undead cring in terror. If your talking about formal weapons it would have to be the knives hidden about his body.

ZeroForever: Eh...I didn't communicate it well initially but the general idea is that the heroes aren't very good at fighting to begin with...
Bah, whatever..It can work either way. Accepted-

Sasha: The "profession" is for what job the guy has as a human, not what class they have later on.

Oh, and I forgot one thing--which I apologize profusely for--so you'll need to add in "Appearance"--this is appearance as they start out. I'm probably picking female appearances. Maybe.

Appearance- Short brown hair, pretty thin and of average height. He's also very pale, as he doesn't go out into the sun too much.
Profession: Librarian. A pretty boring job, but it pays, and he gets to read quite a bit.

Okay. I think everyone so far is accepted. Sasha, I may need an at least somewhat similar picture to work with when the time comes...speaking of which, the heroes will be gaining their respective pieces of equipment one at a time, so your change may not occur for a little while. Just a warning.

I may or may not throw in a character of my own to be a hero(ine)...and this will start..soonish.

Profession: By day, Noah is the mechanic/engineer for the royalty in the kingdom, but at night he becomes a vigilante named Sir Iron-Face. He does the usual robin Hood type of thing for the citizens of the city plus the usual "hero" gig.
