With one snapped, he takes his freed leg and kicks at the restraint on his other leg!
O Muse!
Sing in me, and through me tell the story
Of that man skilled in all the ways of contending,
A wanderer, harried for years on end...

The woman leaned over the edge of the table as the door flew open a few inches before slamming into the obstruction. As the barking dogs fought to push their heads through, she aimed down with both pistols and began to fire. Shot after shot, all aimed for the faces of the cyborg beasts. Age fired until she was out of bullets, at which point she dropped the guns onto the table, pulled another pair from her thighs and carried on shooting!

"We should probably try to sneak our way past them" said Caine. "Maybe we can destroy them, but if they noticed someone took em out the whole place will be on guard".
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

Surprisingly, Jack's modified leg quickly made scrap metal out of the restraint on his other leg. Now both legs are free!!! The robot surveying seemed more than frightened now and fled for its robotic life. The grey color of his leg continued up and he could feel like his right side was getting heavier...more dense.

***

The choke point strategy quickly leveled the playing field as Age's (yes?) bullets dinged and pierced the canine-cyborg heads. It wasn't long before the door was now blocked by the bodies of several dead dogs, their muscles beneath their exoskeletons sagging and bleeding out onto the floor with another odd fluid: oil.

***

As they continued Damian laughed, "This is true. But we'll have gotten some fun out of the day." he said as if to console Cain. As they approached, they were met not with the horde of clickety robots...but of a large clicking cloud of cogs. They all formed a ring that hissed and whirred with hydraulics, within the ring though was a spherical-looking ball of ethereal water..."Woah...a conduit." Damian said in awe.

Jack takes his freed legs, planting them against the back of the (table, wall, whatever XD) and pushing... pulling at the two wrist restraints with the strength of his arms, legs, and his weight! "Yes, run you blighter... it wont save you. I'm going to scrap ALL OF YOU!"

Jumping back off the table, she landed gracefully on her feet, and dragged the table from across the door, allowing her to step out and climb over the bodies of the cyborg dogs, "What the hell did this... ", she muttered, her goggles lighting the way as she headed back through the cubicles, a pistol in each hand still, but now missing her red cloak.

Eventually, she was back in the room she'd broken through the window of, and vaulted through it, dropping one floor, and catching herself on the window below, before letting go and dropping the rest of the way to the ground, bending her knees to soften the landing. Two buildings visited, but all she had was a sack of money, a wounded shoulder, and a sickening feeling that not everyone in this city had gotten off as lightly as simply being killed. Sliding back onto the bright yellow motorcycle, she kicked the stand up and brought the engine to life with a roar. The rear wheel began to spin, spewing smoke behind her as the bike sped off, heading deeper into the city...

Jack's attempt worked splendidly as his weight and strength easily broke the bindings on his wrist. He might notice the inconsistency of logic as his wrists weren't broken, but the gray phenomenon had weaved its way all the way up to there. He felt stronger, surely, but that did little to deaden the dread that filled him as quickly as the grey colored his skin.

***

Winding her way around the intersection, the girl quickly drove her way deeper into the city. There were a few more intersections that had been uprooted, but they all seemed unappealing. As she got closer to the downtown area, the blackness around her thickened and, she wasn't positive, but it looked like some of the buildings were fake...like they weren't as...sturdy as skyscrapers would be. Contrary to the expectation that more enemies or odd soldier cyborgs would be on her the deeper she went, there was nothing. The buildings seemed just as decrepit and empty as the borderline buildings. But despite that fact, the cameras that gazed from each corner were all pinpointed on her.

Her frustration grew as she found no signs of life, artificial or otherwise from riding deeper into the city. It took her a while to realise all the cameras were pointed at her. Spinning the bike around to face one, she revved the engine and roared forward, whipping a pistol from her body and aiming toward the camera as she raced along. BANG! She fired eight up into the lens, and then took another shot at a camera at the next corner. BANG! Slamming on the break she canevto a stop in the middle of an intersection and drew a deep breath, raising her voice, "If you want to see me, come out here and do this in the flesh..", with emphasis on the last word. BANG! Another shot was fired at a camera before the bike leapt forward. Racing towards an abandoned car, she adjusted her weight, the front wheel lifting up off the road, skidding across the hood of the car, the windshield launching the bike up through the air. Taking both hands from the steering, she whipped another pistol from her torso, extending both and out to her sides and squeezed the triggers, bullets flying from each gun as she soared through the air, taking out cameras on each side if the intersection.

Something might have caught the girl's attention out the side of her peripheral vision. If she wasn't going crazy, she might have sworn it was the same robot from the bank. It floated menacingly in a side alley, almost amused at the girl's actions. But that was only for a moment as she flew in the air destroying the cameras.

Her stylish display was ruined as she caught sight of the robot while mid-jump. Her long hair flicked across her back as she did a double take, the light fron her goggles strengthening into strong beams that just washed over the sides of the abandoned buildings, the alley disappearing behind her. The distraction meant she was just feet away from landing, her hands still clutching the dual pistols. The rear wheel of the bike hit the road first, leveling out before the front wheel landed, the force tossing the leather clad girl right off her bright yellow machine, tossing her head first over the handle bars, her guns slipping from her grasp and flying out either side of her as she tumbled through the air before landing hard on her back and then skidded a full fifteen feet across the road, all the lights on her suit fading as she came to a stop.

(Sorry x.x )

Caine looks less impresed and more confused. "Uh... whats going on? Is this a factory of some sort?" he asked looking at the weird ethereal water. "What the?..."

Jack quickly found himself running through what looked to be a smelter. Large buckets on a track were filled with spare and broken parts. It looked like each bucket dumped its holdings into a swirling vortex of molten metal. A dozen yards down the track or so, that same molten metal was being dumped back into the buckets that took the liquid metal off into a different part of...wherever he was.

***

Damian pushed Caine a little to get him out of the stupor he was in, "Hey...this is a conduit...a portal to somewhere. It might even lead closer to the center."

As the woman crashed and burned onto the asphalt, her lights went out. If she struggled to get up, she'd feel a presence about her that seemed to darken the streets. It was a silent watch, but with no lights she couldn't see where it was.

The red-haired young woman cursed as she rolled over and tried to fire up the lights on her suit, only to find they weren't working, which caused the cursing to continue. The leather had been worn down in several spots where she'd skidded along the ground, flashes of pale skin showing through at her lower back, shoulders and elbows. Staggering to her feet, she whipped two new pistols from her suit, and her head twitched from side to side as she felt the eerie presence around her. Stretching her arms out, she aimed both pistols ahead of her, the rise and fall of her chest quite un-even beneath the black leather, as if she were panicking. The truth was, her goggles were more than just lights, they were her vision. Without the techo-wizardy, she was blind. "I know you're there!", she called.

"Great... trashed robots coming around for another swing." He just hopes one of those isnt Nora... he had to find her... find her and get out of here. He continues through as quietly as he can manage.
