Now, I will begin this adventure with everything in order, so that will mean that our hero will have good fortune this turn. For every other turn (post) his fortune switches between good and bad. This adventure has left things open for more characters and a division of them, so in the event that they are divided you can choose which character (who joins Godmodalot on his quest) you wish to post about; and still keep in line with whether the fortune is good or bad during your post, of course.
The ending of the RP arrives when our hero or any of his compatriots have the grail in their possession. The person who posts this event can not end the RP on the same turn; either those after them can, or if none of them decide to and your turn comes around again and you decide to. And remember: the ending is good or bad depending on the kind of fortune you're supposed to post for your turn.
One last thing... The grail doesn't necessarily have to be a cup, or even anything tangible. There are a lot of ideas, fanciful, pragmatic and obscure, that describe what the grail is. So... Who knows what it could be when the time comes.
Other than that, just send a question via PM if you have one.
Okay! Playtime!

[Quest: To get the Holy Grail.]
Sir Godmodalot (or Arthur for short, if that should be his first name ;p) set out in search of knights that would join him in his court at Spamalot. He had been blessed with the largest coconuts in the land, affording him a steed that awed all onlookers. (Although in reality they were just dumbstruck as he strode around the countryside with a servant beating two halves of a coconut together.) His first destination was at a nearby castle, wherein its Lord he would seek and offer a place in his court. As he made himself known to the guard on the castle wall he hoped that good fortune would remain with him. (That's just asking for it, isn't it? ;/)

Alas, good fortune was not to be had. The guard was a bad-tempered Frenchman, surly about being put on guard duty at this hour. He had a croissant waiting for him, after all! And he was hungry.... But stuck on this wall.... So lo, he denied Sir Arthur entry, even going so far as summon the castle wizard, who cursed Sir Arthur and sent him flying off into far oblivion!

But it seems fate smiles on Sir Arthur and made it so the cruse gave him wings so he could land safely yet he could not see what he looked like.

Unfortunately, Sir Godmodalot flew into a mirror. Not only did he recieve the classic 7 years bad luck for smashing it, but he also got his face cut to shreds. He covers his eyes and plummets the thousands of feet to the ground.
And if that wasn't bad enough, he still didn't know what he looked like yet.

Luckily though, oblivion seemed to have a soft and comfy floor, for though Arthur failed to use the wings he'd been blessed with, he still managed to land safe and sound--and even better, his face seemed to be miraculously healing itself...Things were looking up!

Things were looking up indeed! When Sir Godmodalot looked up just to see what was it that saved him from an early demise, he suddenly wished that he hadn't, for what he saw was far worse than his previous fate of instant death. He had landed on the belly of a rather disgruntled dragon who had, just moments before, been taking a nice nap. Well, that is, until a certain cursed knight woke him up from his slumber. Pain was in for our unfortunate hero....

Fortunately for our brave knight, the dragon merely glances at him for a few seconds before snorting and flicking him off of his scaly belly with a rather dirty looking claw before going back to sleep. It's the dragon's day off so he wants a nice lie in before doing the whole slaughtering thing.
This leaves our knight a little bruised but nonetheless, safe from the threat of being eaten.
Perhaps his luck will continue to improve and he may find a way out of this dragon's den?

If only our hero were that lucky. The dragon snorted, rolled over, then scratched at its crotch. In effect that left our hero a squishy, bloody mess beneath the dragon. Is this the end of his quest?

No, it is not! Remember, it is a divine quest. Which means narration will not permit our brave hero to die before it is completed! The starry gods of narrative convention pull Sir Arthur into their shining light in time to keep him from being more than mildly preserved, and more than ready to continue on his quest....

But alas lady luck looked the other way cause just then a group of TG bandits jumped on our hero and changed him intent on selling him off as a slave.

(I'm taking Muffin's turn since it has been a week. Now it's Daybreak Druid's turn.)
However, since he had become a maiden fair, in short order a Godmodalot doppelganger came to her rescue. He rode up on his noble steed and turned the TG bandits into goons with each bop on the head from the broadside of his sword.
Glad to be out of that situation, our hero was disturbed about the doppelganger. Replaced she would not be! And so, as she held on tight to the doppelganger's waist, she thought of a way to dispose of him...

...But unfortunately, ideas were not immediately forthcoming, as they galloped away from the bandit camp. They were going pretty fast, and if she let go of her savior's waist, it seemed likely that no sooner then she tried anything, she would find herself falling off of the steed that they shared...
As they arrived at the gates of a kingdom, her thoughts were derailed at a loud, booming proclamation form the doppelganger that he had found himself a bride...

Luckily, Lady Godmodalot still had a TG potion she had snatched from the bandits. Though she couldn't use it on herself due to the laws of magicy stuff, the fake Godmodalot certainly could, so she quickly upended the substance on him and transformed him into a her. Since the kingdom could not wed two females together, our hero was free to go on her quest once more!

But alas, lady luck must've dropped her glasses or something because it seems our hero(ine) was spotted pouring the potion over the former copycat and was quickly thrown to the ground with a crowd of peasents and knights declaring her a witch! Judging by the rough treatment of being thrown off of the horse onto the dirt and the fact two knights are dragging her to a stake, this kingdom doesn't think too highly of witches.
Surely, our hero(ine)'s luck has run dry at this point!

Au contraire! For it just so happened to be the second coming of Christ himself! And lo, for he did arrive on a carpet of water; or, as they would say in layman's terms, he chose to walk on the surface of the nearby river.
Imagine the mob's awe upon seeing a man floating upon the water. As if one they alternated their attention between Christ and the distressed Arthur(ette), considering their options as they did so. They then huddled together and murmured for a bit before they decided to grab our heroine and take her to the river's bank. Once there they tossed her into the river, where she sank beneath the surface with a mighty splash.
"Witch," they cried out as they pointed their fingers at Christ.
Christ sighed and said, "oh, not again," as he was grabbed and carried away.
Now alone, after drudging her way out of the river, our heroine was soon met by her doppelganger, who had also been met with the fate of being feminized.
"Simply amazing luck, I must say!" Proclaimed the doppelganger.
"You speak the truth, my lady!" Arthur returned proudly.
"That's just the sort of thing I would need on my journey! Will you join me in my court at Spamalot?" The doppelganger asked.
"Why, I was just about to ask you the same thing!" Arthur said with surprise. "And I say that we should join together, for we are not only two heads but we think alike!"
"Let it be so, then!" The doppelganger declared.
And so they set off together, not realizing who the other was because both had yet to see their own reflections. And they were a bit slow in the head, besides. Either way, what does the winds of fate blow their way while on the road to their next destination?
