Hub Rp: Stand By, Set Up, Ready

"Just wondering now Ebony. I won't have to fill out a mountian of paper work like I had to to run a gateway, right?"

[Tala]

"Nothing. I just do this to every new person. I like to know what they are like."

[Raleigh]

"No, you won't. The gateway running is a special detail, we need to make sure you understand all the responsiblities and cover our backsides concerning possible lawsuits and the like. We might basically run this world, but that doesn't stop people from trying to attack us anyway they can."

[Shadowmaster]

"What I'm like? Well, I guess you could say...paranoid." Shadow says, being completely serious. "Enemies could be anywhere, which is why I'm so hostile to being followed by mysterious people."

[Tala]

"This place is safe. There are defecnce that pervent anything hostile from coming in. if anything does there are enough people here to handle anything. The Guild Master is ther most powerful person here. He is the most powerful person there is."

[Shadowmaster]

"Well, even with all of the defences, you never know. Anyone could be a spy." Shadow said.

[Tala]

"No chance of that. Everyone gets a mind scan when they join the guild. NO one knows what controls the defences. Only the Gulild Master does."

"Shannon, you will be working with that Lyra girl tomorrow, so if you will follow me, I can get both of you your assignments in one go." Ebony takes a seat across from the siblings and Wren. "So, tomorrow's asignments are decided. Lyra, you will be going to Eden, there has been an outbreak of spectre infestations. When you arrive, look for a guy named Drake, he will hook you up with some modified resources for your hunt. Shannon will be going with you to handle the job."

(Shannon nods solemnly)

Understood.

(she gives Lyra a somewhat more friendly nod from where she's standing)

Nice to meet you, my name is Shannon, as Ebony's already noted.

[Shadowmaster]

"Heh, fine then. Go ahead and rip my theories apart. Could always be hypnosis..." Shadow said. "So, you always follow new people around? Thats an interesting hobby."

[Raleigh]

"Righto then. I'll leave you all to your dinners. I need to get onto some arrangeing of the next day's jobs." Ebony turns and walks out of the dinning hall.

[Katty]

"Well, lets eat."

About an hour later, I finish my food and see what time it is.

"Wow is it late. I'm going to turn in sis. I'll see you tomorrow Wryn, but I think I have to get my sister to her mission first if that is ok. Well, see ya."

I start walking back to my room to get some sleep

(Shannon had noted the closeness of the brother and sister in their posture and tones, and with a wistful smile, she nodded once more)

I'll see you tomorrow, then, Lyra.

Nice meeting all of you.

(She smiles ever so slightly, the ice in her blue eyes lessening, then disappears quickly back into the hustle and bustle of the dining hall, leaving the two to finish their meal)

Lyra waved and smiled back. "Sounds good! I'm turning in, too. See you!" Then she too went on her way. "Wait up, sprig!"

OOC: Yup, this happened before my last post; I just figured I'd better be nice and respond.

"It is boring here. I only have fun on missions."

[Shadowmaster]

"Well, that is good to know. If I ever find myself being followed in a hallway in this place, I'll assume its. you. However, I must be getting to my room now. Perhaps I'll see you tomorrow after my mission." Shadow said as he walked back to his room.
