General Appearance: Rick is a reasonably fit man with a taller than average frame and auburn hair. He doesn't have much of an eye for fashion, so his outfits mainly consist of earth-colored utility clothing such as cargo pants and flight jackets. His hair, which he leaves unkempt, usually gets in the way of his sapphire blue eyes, so he has to swipe it out of his line of sight often.
General Personality: Rick is a quiet, brooding individual who over-thinks nearly all of the issues in his life, usually at the expense of his mind and body. It's a habit of his that many people find more than a bit odd, and he himself wants to change it. By studying about the human psyche, he hopes to find answers to the problem that's been plaguing him for years.... But can he do it with his low self-esteem and irrational fears?

General Personality: All through school, Fern was the odd duck out. Maybe part of it was her love of reading and math. Maybe another part was her chubby frame. In high school, when she finally lost her baby fat, she had bad acne and headgear. Now, despite the fact that she actually looks pretty, she can't really bring herself to quite believe it. Quick to find fault with herself and very bashful, she is really only in her element when she has a difficult problem to solve. Preferrably, that problem can be solved by sticking her nose in a book or using a complex mathematical equation.
