More captions! That means I'm getting closer to actually having enough time to finish my stories! Huzzah and Whatnot!
So far, people are pretty much hung between me finishing Angel Tease or doing The Experiment right. So, I will decide! (Hey, I'm the one with the brain filled with ideas here. I should have a say, too.)

Captain Caption, Away!!!

A little something left over from the Project Neko universe.
Been wanting to use this picture for a while, but only just now did I get an ideer.
I wanted to do MSG on this one, but I just didn't feel it.
Highly Topical Fanservice.
Speaking of fanservice... I found an excuse for FtM again.
I don't know why, but I like the 1st person right now.

Love the first person one and the gas one. Both very good. The crab is the best idea I have ever heard of.

Okay, so here's the deal.

I want to make captions.

I have quite a few pictures to work with, and quite a few ideas to go with each one, but I just haven't gotten into a caption-crazy mood recently. Granted, I'm writing a story at the moment, but it's gotten me in a generally creative mood. Problem is, I'm still too lazy to get around to captioning my stash. So, I aim to propose something drastic.

The first three people to pm me requesting captions will get them.

Once you have become one of the lucky few, either send me a picture you want captioned or some kind of theme or tf you want to see in a caption. Heck, it can be both (less work for me, heh). Either way, you request it, I'll make a caption out of it.

But only the first three will get it!

Edit: The three golden tickets have been chosen! Thank you for participating, and soon you will see the fruits of a fevered mind...

That was quite fun. I had to work a bit on these three, so I hope you're grateful. BE GRATEFUL!! I kid. Maybe not, but it was still fun, and I have three new captions to present to the world because of it.

Bladeron's request. At first, I thought this would be the hardest, but as soon as I found the perspective I wanted, it just flowed.
Exposure

Kaizer's request. I'm just glad Photobucket didn't shrink it down too much. I tried to make it more focused on the transformation, but still include a nice twist.
Teaching

Karmelo's request. This one was the hardest to execute. I just couldn't get the flow right while covering all the points I wanted. The hardest part was conveying pure hatred in a manner that still sounded calm and straight-faced.
Elvish

All in all, a good exercise. One question, though. Does anyone know of a way in MS Paint to do the kind of colored exchange I did in Bladeron's without making a bajillion text boxes?

The only other way I can think of is:
-Make a lot of blank (non-picture) space
-Type all of one color/character's dialogue in one box, all of the same color, with a line between each
-Type all of the other's the same way.
-Use cut-and-paste manipulation to put each set of words where it needs to be.

...But that last step could make it take even longer than typing it piece by piece. MS Paint has its limitations....lots of 'em.

The (in)Glorious Return!!!

Postby muffinstud » Mon Aug 03, 2009 2:13 am

I have returned. Sort of. What have I been doing all this time? I don't really know, quite frankly. But hey, the important thing is that I'm back (again, sort of) and I have some goodies for all the good boys and girls.

That, and I have some captions for you guys. Hey, I had to do something to pass the time!

Oh, and since this is just for captions, please keep all of your heckling and joyous celebrations to other threads where they are more appropriate. This place is only for petty remarks and outright bribery.

So, down to business!

What would a caption update be without your favorite crab?

Idle thoughts while playing sports.

More evidence that I just can't stop typing...

I really like this picture, so I'd like to see what someone else could do with it.

Had fun writing this one. Tried to make it as short as possible while keeping the characters intact.

The fourth wall was made to be broken.

Really, I'm trying to cut down on the writing. Really I am...

MSF Survival Guide time!!

MSG #3

MSG #4

MSG #56

...And I'm spent!
