[Let me have a crack at it!]

In ancient times, it was said that your reflection in a mirror or otherwise was actually your soul.

So for Danny, it was a massive shock when he was walking to school through the rain and saw a cute girl in a puddle instead of his reflection. So surprised, he tripped and fell face first into it and blacked out!

When he came too, he found himself a bit wetter and a lot more female then when he passed out. but as she looked to the sky to see the clouds clearing and a brilliant rainbow appearing, she somehow knew it would be all right.

After all, your reflection is just the reflection of your soul.

When next awake, something feels different as the wet clothing and hard surface remind Gus where he took his nap. The warming sun tells him it is now morning and he stands up quickly, surprised that there is no pain from sleeping on the gravel roof last night. Looking down he sees the reason why, but remembering the warmth of how the Rainbow made her feel, leaves no need to panic. Looking up from her new reflection, she sees the images of colored doors and knows things really will be better, for last night had given her the opportunity to open her own door to the future and [I]Gwen[I] now looked forward to the new challenge granted her...
