Super Bowl 46 Ads

Super Bowl 46 is now officially ended, with the New York Giants defeating the New England Patriots.

The Super Bowl ads were pretty good. There was a Doritos ad featuring a dog who bribed his owner to keep his mouth shut about the missing family cat, a couple car commercials with Vampires being destroyed by headlights, Jerry Seinfield and the Soup Nazi along with Jay Leno. Kelly Clarkson sang the National Anthem, while Madonna sang at the Half time show.

Sasha Baron Cohen, who voiced King Julien in the Madagascar movies and tv series the Penguins of Madagascar, will play a dictator who comes to America on a diplomatic mission at the United Nations. What can go wrong?

New movie trailers included GI Joe: Retribution, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Bruce Willis, and Ray Park (as Snake Eyes), The Avengers (with Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, The Hulk, Hawkeye, and Captain America with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury), and Star Wars: Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D. Battleship (based off of the popular Hasbro board game also came out with a trailer. Battleship will be produced by Michael Bay.

I like the storyline behind GI Joe : Retribution - Zartan, the evil master of disguise, is still impersonating the President of the United States from the 1st movie. He is played by the guy who played Imhotep (the Mummy/Mummy Returns). Somehow, Cobra, the evil terrorist organization that threatens to destroy the world, has plans to remove the GI Joe military special forces unit by capturing Duke and his team. Bruce Willis plays Colton, an old veteran who teams up with Roadblock and Jinx, a ninja apprentice, to rescue the rest of the team. Johnson will play Roadblock, a cousin of Heavy Duty.

Dwayne Johnson, better known as WWE Superstar The Rock, will be in Journey 2 The Mysterious Island, and at Wrestlemania 28, will face John Cena.

"It's getting hot in here"

"Stop! No pepsi for you!"

Also love the seinfeld one.
And now, for something curious.

Yeah, the Soup Nazi was funny. The ad was for an Acura...

The movie with Sasha Baron Cohen is called Dictator.

There was a Betty White commercial as well as the Pepsi commercial with Elton John.

I heard the music and was like "Kill Bill parody." My roommate realized it at Celo in the yellow jumpsuit.

And that was Elton? I honestly thought it was Drew Carry.
