I believe this movie is adapted from a book. The premise is that an eccentric scientist plans to turn water into food products...and wackiness ensues. Evil man-eating rotessrie chickens, pizza dive bombers, and fortune cookies with ominous messages of DOOM! (You are about to be crushed by a giant ear of corn!)
And, they are going to show it in 3d!

They made that book into a movie? Weird. As I recall, there wasn't any dialog in the book, it was all pictures, but I haven't even see a copy since elementary school.

...Ladies and gentlemen, the nostalgia factor has now kicked into overdrive for me.

I have an old copy of the book, and I took a minute to flip through it. Pretty much the entire account of the town of Chewandswallow is told straight from Grandpa's mouth, so yeah; there's dialog.
