Favorite TV/movie characters

Offhand, coincidentally, two Jacks come to mind: Jack Sparrow and Jack O'Neill.
I tried to think of a female character but there seems to be a lack of interesting female characters, so... I can't think of one.

Hm.. this could be a long list. Dr. Daniel Jackson from both the movie and series of Stargate. Han Solo and Vader from Star Wars. Picard and Data from Star Trek. James Bond (namely Connery's version) from duh. Jack O'Neil in the Stargate series and his original character MacGuyver. John (I think that was it.) McClain in the Die Hard movies. Maxwell Smart from the original Get Smart series. I think those are all of the ones that come to mind off the top of my head.

Easy for me, Hugh Laurie as House in House. God, I love that show.
