Now, this is a new fighters released here by Atlus, why is that kinda a thing for MSF? It's the all female cast. Yep, you know an anime girl type? Chances are it's in this game. Ninja? Got it! Maid? Got it! Miko? You betcha.
Now what's the best thing about the game is the fact it's 2d. I have a deep love for 2d fighters. They are still an enjoyable past time for me. This one is very fluid, but the speed isn't near Guilty Gear or Marvel vrs Capcom 2, but it's got a fairly deep combo system.
3 major attack buttons. weak, medium and strong, right? That is also coupled with the S button, which is a homing dash, to keep up your long combos. Combo's seem to chain fairly easily, but I haven't gotten the homing down yet, so I launch them up, and I can't continue the combo.
But none of that is anything that's not normal, but what makes this different is the Arcana system. Your 11 characters can choose one of 11 arcana which add moves or buffs on to your character. So that means you can have 121 different variations of characters.
I haven't even really scratched the surface yet, but this seems to have a lot of replay value with buddies who don't mind playing a fighting game with a lot of pink.
