wow i didn't know there was a difference between the series :
Mai-hime
and
Mai-otome
i feel really cool...
one is about a girl that goes to an academy to learn and ends up fighting off aliens
and the other one is well....more suited to my interests.

Mai-Otome is a "what if" "sequel" to Mai-Hime.
