Recent Japan Earthquake
Posted: Sat Mar 12, 2011 1:48 amIn the wake of the recent 8.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan, and the resultant tsunami, I'm just poking in to assure you that both I, and Kimiko emerged unscathed and will largely be unaffected by the disaster, though aftershocks continue to send tremors through the Tokyo area even now.
That said, there are a lot of people--if not any MSFers as far as I know--who were less lucky. If you find that you have the capability, please do consider donating to the International Medical Corps, or another such organization, to help those who need it.
